983 Call Him Grandpa
Old Master Lin didn’t know why Qin Churou had come to see him, but he didn’t ask. He had plenty of time to waste with Qin Churou.
Besides, teasing Qin Churou wasn’t a bad idea.

That morning, just as Old Master Lin walked out of the villa, Qin Churou came over again with a piece of cake in her hand and gave it to Old Master Lin.
“Grandpa, I made this for you this morning. Try it and see if it’s good.”
Old Master Lin took the cake and looked at it. He saw the name of the cake shop on the mat.
Old Master Lin looked away and raised his eyebrows. “Qin Churou, are you sure you did it?”
“Yes.” Qin Churou nodded. “I’ve been preparing since five this morning.”
“Is that so?” Old Master Lin directly exposed Qin Churou’s words. “But, why is there a sign below that says ‘Meiyi Cake Shop’?”
The smile on Qin Churou’s face froze. She forced an excuse. “Oh, really? I just happened to buy a cake from this shop yesterday. When I was baking the cake this morning, I didn’t have a cake box, so I used this.”
Old Master Lin only laughed mockingly and did not continue the topic.
He returned the cake to Qin Churou. “You can eat it yourself. I’ve never liked to eat other people’s saliva. I think it’s dirty.”
Qin Churou’s lips curved into a stiff smile. “Okay, I’ll bring you something else next time.”
Old Master Lin put his hands behind his back. “Tell me, Qin Churou. What’s your motive for coming to the Lin family’s house to get close to me?”
His eyes were like torches, as if he could see through Qin Churou with one look.
“Don’t tell me that you just want to accompany this old man for a walk and chat without any ulterior motives. I’ve lived for more than half of my life. I won’t believe such a lie.”
Qin Churou had brought a cake for Old Master Lin because she wanted to get closer to him and settle their relationship as soon as possible.
Tomorrow, she was going to shoot a movie somewhere else, and she wouldn’t be back for at least two weeks.
