824 Educating the Children
It was not the children’s fault. They had stayed by her side for so long and ate fruits and vegetables infused with energy every day. Their taste buds had long been pampered too much. They did not care for ordinary foodstuffs at all.
It could be considered a good thing. Did people not say that daughters should be brought up in abundance?
“Miao Miao, even if it tastes bad, you can’t say it out so directly. If someone buys our seeds and says that it tastes really bad in front of you, will you be angry?” Qiao Mei asked.

“Let’s go in. The movie is about to start,” Li Gui said.

Li Gui nodded. She decided to go to the train station to take a look tomorrow. Perhaps she could sell them at the train station during the day and at the cinema at night. Then she could earn a lot of money in a day.

Everyone had a good night’s sleep. The next morning, they were woken up by weeping sounds outside the main door. Qiao Mei covered her head with the blanket and went back to sleep.
Unexpectedly, the cries outside the door became louder and louder, disturbing her sleep. Qiao Mei sat up from the bed impatiently and frowned as she looked in the direction of the main door.
It was very noisy outside and she could not hear what was going on. She could only hear the sounds of many women crying.
Qiao Mei put on a fluffy shawl and prepared to go to the door to take a look. The closer she got to the door, the louder the sounds became and she could hear a few words clearly.
“My poor daughter! She doesn’t have a good life after marrying into the Xia family!”
