He Ning and his attendant did not go far. Instead, they stood just outside the wall of the Xia family’s house. Not long after, they could smell a nice fragrance coming from the kitchen.

As she sniffed carefully, she could detect the smell of soil and muttered softly, “Did the three generations of you go digging a tunnel?”
When Xia Zhe heard this, he was so amused that he laughed. He pulled Qiao Mei into his arms and said, “Are you a puppy? Why is your nose so sensitive?”
“You really went to dig a tunnel! Did you guys go to shift everything under the house?” Qiao Mei asked as she looked at Xia Zhe in shock.
“No, those people won’t be able to come by anymore. It’s all our own people at the house now,” Xia Zhe said.
