486 Love at First Sight
Hearing that Old Madam Fu was going to introduce a reliable man to Mo Rao, Fu Ying’s expression darkened.
He didn’t want to see Mo Rao with another man, especially a man that was introduced by his biological grandmother.
“Grandma, I’m a reliable person. Why don’t you introduce me to her?” Fu Ying recommended himself.
Old Madam Fu and Mo Rao laughed.
“Forget it.” Old Madam Fu rolled her eyes.
Mo Rao knew that Old Madam Fu was most likely teasing Fu Ying. Seeing their amusing expressions, Mo Rao relaxed.
“Alright, Grandma, I’ll go back first. If there’s any news from Yang Shu, tell me. I’ll pass it on to Qu You.” Seeing that it was about time, Mo Rao stood up and prepared to leave.
Old Madam Fu held Mo Rao’s hand reluctantly and said, “Rao Rao, why don’t you have a meal here before leaving?”
“Grandma, I’m sorry. I have an appointment tonight,” Mo Rao said embarrassedly. “I’ll come for dinner next time with my brother.”
When Old Madam Fu heard this, she could only agree. However, Fu Ying was curious and asked, “Who do you have an appointment with?”
Mo Rao looked up at Fu Ying. “Why should I tell you?”
“That’s right. Rao Rao has her own life. She doesn’t have to report everything to you,” Old Madam Fu chimed in.
Fu Ying felt that he couldn’t win two against one, so he nestled on the sofa in dejection and muttered, “I was just concerned about her.”
Mo Rao ignored him and bid farewell to Old Madam Fu before leaving the Fu family’s home.
The person she had an appointment with was Qu You.
She had told Qu You in advance that she was going to the Fu family’s home to help her obtain “insider information”. Qu You immediately asked her out for dinner.
When they reached the restaurant, Qu You was already sitting at the dining table with her head lowered while playing with her phone.
“Ahem.” Mo Rao sat opposite Qu You and coughed at her.
Qu You suddenly looked up and said with a smile, “You’re here! I was chatting with Yang Shu.”
As she spoke, Qu You handed the phone to Mo Rao. “Look, is he interested in me?”
On the phone screen, there was Qu You and Yang Shu’s chat history.
For every five sentences from Qu You, Yang Shu replied with one sentence.
As Mo Rao looked at the so-called “chat” on the screen in confusion, she realized that Qu You was probably head over heels in love.
How could she tell that Yang Shu was interested in her?
Was it because Yang Shu responded to her?
In order not to make Qu You sad, Mo Rao echoed, “Yes, since he’s willing to contact you, he should be interested in you.”
Qu You smiled brightly and asked, “What did Grandma Fu say?”
“She said that Yang Shu didn’t mention the blind date when he went back, so she didn’t get any feedback.” Mo Rao repeated Old Madam Fu’s words truthfully. “But I’ve already told her that if there’s any feedback from Yang Shu, tell me immediately.”
Although she said that, Qu You was clearly a little disappointed.
“I see… I thought he would talk about his blind date with me when he returned.” Qu You took back her phone with an unhappy look.
Seeing that Qu You was already smitten with Yang Shu, Mo Rao teased, “Qu You, could it be that you fell in love with him at first sight?”
