It was noon when Shen Yan finished her IV drip. Lu Yan accompanied her out of the hospital. Shen Yan had never liked the smell of the hospital disinfectant.

After completing the discharge procedures, Lu Yan saw Shen Yan sitting on a chair with a pale face waiting for him. He walked over and said, “Let’s head back.”

Although Lu Yan and Shen Yan had their masks and glasses on, there were still many people who recognized them. They took out their phones and started taking photos of them.
Shen Yan noticed the gazes of the people around her, and her thoughts were a little disorganized. She whispered, “It’s not good to get photographed. If they think that we’re in a relationship…”

This was her first time being so close to Lu Yan, and she could smell his scent. She seemed to have smelled it somewhere before.
However, she was feeling extremely ill. Thus, she fell asleep before she could think clearly.
Lu Yan soon realized that there was no motion from the person in his arms. He looked down and saw her eyes were closed tightly. Her long, curly eyelashes were also stained with a bit of moisture. He called out tentatively, “Shen Yan?”
