Shen Yan had a boyfriend inexplicably just like this. Just as she was about to explain, the nurse had already left.
Shen Yan frowned as she looked at Lu Yan, who was sitting beside her. She wanted to tell him not to speak nonsense, but she did not know what to say when she met his beautiful peach blossom eyes.
Shen Yan sighed helplessly. Why was she getting upset over a sick person? She took out a thermos flask and handed it to Lu Yan. “Take your medicine first!”
After Lu Yan finished taking his medicine, Shen Yan sat there and thought of asking Lu Yan’s friend to come over to accompany him. However, she thought that it wouldn’t be long and decided to accompany him till he finished his IV drip.
Normally, Shen Yan would have already been asleep at this time. She leaned against the chair and felt drowsy.
Shen Yan took out her phone and was about to chat with Chen Nian. However, she fell asleep after a short chat.
Lu Yan tilted his head and looked at Shen Yan. Seeing that Shen Yan was asleep, he carefully helped her push the messy hair on her face to her ear. When he saw that her phone was about to fall off, he meticulously placed the phone in her hand to the side.

When the nurse came over to check on the patient, she saw that there was a lot of blood returning to the infusion tube. She thought that it was Shen Yan who was receiving the injection and was about to wake Shen Yan up. Just then, the nurse noticed that it was Lu Yan who was receiving the IV drip.
She was about to say something when she saw the man make a gesture, signaling her not to speak.
Lu Yan lowered his voice and cleared his throat. He explained, “Do try not to wake up my girlfriend when you’re changing the needle. She’s very tired.”
The nurse was thirty years old this year and did not have a boyfriend yet. Who would have thought that she would still be able to see a lovey-dovey couple in the middle of the night? She felt extremely distressed and replied softly, “Yes, Sir. Please wait a moment.”
The nurse returned very quickly and helped Lu Yan to re-inject his needle. Her gaze landed on the woman beside the man. Although she was wearing a mask, she still could see that she had fair skin and long eyelashes.
They were a perfect match!

Lu Yan was worried that Shen Yan would be cold, so he draped his own clothes over her body.

Shen Yan sat up straight hurriedly. No wonder she felt warm when she fell asleep just now.
Shen Yan’s gaze fell on Lu Yan’s face. She saw that his eyes were slightly closed, and his long eyelashes drooped down. He seemed to be sleeping soundly.
Shen Yan could not bear to wake him up directly. So, she got up carefully and was about to drape Lu Yan’s coat over him when she saw Lu Yan opening his eyes slowly.
Lu Yan seemed to have just woken up. His pair of eyes that looked at Shen Yan still carried a bit of confusion, and then he smiled. “Yanyan,” Lu Yan called out in a low voice. Shen Yan stood up straight and avoided his gaze. She checked her phone, and it was already four o’clock in the morning.
“Sorry, I fell asleep just now,” Shen Yan stated uncomfortably. “Did you sleep well?” Lu Yan’s eyes were full of smiles.
