Even if Lu did not eat for ten days or more, she would still not starve. The virus inside her would swallow the cells and give her energy to survive until all the cells were dead.
But she could not handle starving. So even if she would not die because of it, she still wanted to eat many things in a day, otherwise she would feel unwell.
She could not stand not being fed for three days!
“No way, that is too cruel. I do not know how to speak like a gentle lady, but I do not want to stay hungry. You just said that you were going to cook tasty food for me and now you have gone back on your word. You are a liar.”
Jing Yiran’s lips twitched. He had forgotten that making Lu talk in a lustful way like other girls was more difficult than travelling to another planet.
Also, she had learnt to bargain!
Had he taught her too well?
“Also, you did make me wait for too long. You have not kissed me even till now!”
Lu sounded a bit displeased. That startled Jing Yiran.
He asked carefully, “You want me to kiss you?”
What just happened?
Whenever he tried to kiss Lu, she would always speak in a disdainful way, “Why must we bite each other like this? Do you like my saliva so much? I don’t like yours, I prefer pigs’ feet.”
Any man would lose the desire to kiss when he heard such words.
So uptill now, all Jing Yiran had done was to kiss her forehead rather than touch her red lips.
Kissing required the consent of both sides. There would be no passion if the other person regarded you worse than even pig’s feet!
But now Lu did not seem to think that him kissing her was any problem. Was she finally into being kissed by him?
Before he could express his happiness, Lu spoke up, “I don’t want you to kiss me, but I need to cooperate with you when you are in the mood to kiss me. Didn’t you explain it to me?”
So she was still not there yet!
She was trying to cooperate with him? They were not in a TV show!
Wasn’t it a normal thing to share some kisses?
Jing Yiran was completely defeated by Lu.
He understood why he never had that strong affection towards Lu till date. She was not desirable enough!
He had been attracted towards those pretty ladies but his desire tended to go down when he was with her.
Oh god, what had he done that he had to suffer so much!
Jing Yiran laid upon Lu helplessly. After a few moments, he got up but before moving away, he bit upon Lu’s shoulder.
Lu was not that sensitive towards pain, because she had been injured much more severely enough times.
In return, she also took a bite at his shoulder.
“Ah!”
Jing Yiran let out a shout when he felt the pain.
He threw a look at his shoulder and then at Lu’s. Obviously, he had taken a bigger and deeper bite and even left a mark on her shoulder, but Lu had not even uttered a sound.
Jing Yiran found himself in deep trouble when he had the top ranked killer as his girlfriend, who was also physically abnormal.
His advantage as a man would never be reflected in front of her. Lu was much stronger than him. She did not need his warmth and that upset him and made him feel that he was useless.
Jing Yiran looked at Lu’s face and stood up. Then he went to the living room to pick the dishes and carried them to the kitchen for washing.
Lu was slow in reacting, but she was not silly. She realized that Jing Yiran was not happy.
She was confused but tried to hazard a guess.
She stood up and followed him into the kitchen. There, she put on a pair of rubber gloves and started to do the dishes with him.
“You are mad?”
“Not yet.”
“Why are you mad?”
“I am not.”
“You are, I can feel it.”
“Just go and rest. I can do the dishes by myself.”
“You are an adult, you must not fight with me.”
Jing Yiran got really irritated by her words.
Now she had learnt to lecture him?
He was not arguing with her. If he was really angry, he would not have spoken to her.
He had known Lu for a long time and understood her true nature. He had been prepared to teach her right from the beginning and was used to her cold behavior and ignorance. He had run into many situations like today’s incident and it wasn’t a big deal anymore.
He removed the rubber gloves and swept the girl into his arms. Then he moved his fingers to feel her smooth hair. “We are not arguing and I am not angry, but something is amiss. I am just upset.”
“Because you did not kiss me? I allowed you to kiss me but you gave it up.”
Alright, it was not possible to communicate with a girl who seemed to be an alien.
Also, why was she going on and on about the kiss?
Did she really want him to kiss her?
Jing Yiran lifted her chin and suddenly kissed her.
Her lips were cool, and fragrant, like a delicious candy which was highly addictive.
But Jing Yiran controlled himself. He did not penetrate deeper into Lu’s mouth, because he knew that she did not like it.
He kissed her lips gently, caressing them.
Lu’s eyes widened at his sudden gesture. Immediately, she remembered that Jing Yiran had told her to close her eyes when she was kissed.
Her long eyelashes were trembling when she closed her eyes.
Just as she closed her eyes, her other senses turned sharper.
The touch and the warm softness between the lips did not bring Lu any joy. But she did not find it bad, either.
Somehow, Jing Yiran’s kisses made it feel just right.
Jing Yiran had noticed that Lu did not frown or push him away this time. She could have, if she wanted to.
She needed time and he needed to treat her as a child instead of an adult, for now. She knew about things but had not experienced them. That was why she felt uncomfortable at times.
