The corner of his mouth kicked up as Gu Mohan revealed a gentle smile. “Yan Dong, you can head back first. I’ll personally deal with this matter.”
…
In the room.
Gu Mohan’s large palm was on the doorknob, he pulled on it to make his way inside the room.
There was only one lamp switched on, providing the room with faint yellow lighting. It was all quiet and warm. Tang Mo’er came out of the bathroom and she wore a silk negligee that fell past her shoulders in a soft waterfall of material.
Hearing the sound of the door opening, she turned her head around to glance at him. Just like a blooming snow lotus, her voice was soft and sensual. “Mr Gu, did you finish handling your work matters?”
Gu Mohan’s steps were wide, he walked in front and held her narrow waist with a muscular arm. Taking two steps back, he forced her onto the wall and sandwiched her between himself and the wall.
Tang Mo’er fixed her gaze on him. “Mr Gu, what’s the matter?”
Gu Mohan’s deep and narrow eyes were concealed in the half-lit environment, they were brimming with scorching passion. He lifted his right hand steadily and placed his finger in front of her face.
He didn’t do anything more, just silently awaiting her reaction.
Tang Mo’er looked at the slender finger in front of her and lifted her hand, lightly tugging on it. She maintained a firm grip over his finger.
Lifting her long eyelashes, she looked at the handsome face in front of her and her lips lifted at the corners as she asked sweetly, “Mr Gu, is something wrong?”
That ignited a smoldering flame in Gu Mohan’s gunmetal eyes, his muscles were tense all over. He couldn’t suppress the emotions in him, it was her, he reassured himself.
He had observed her gaze carefully, she was indeed the one he had been looking for all the while.
21 years ago, the newborn who wouldn’t let go of his index finger, the newborn who smiled sweetly at him. It was her.
21 years later, she hadn’t changed a bit. When he stretched his finger over, she would tug on it without hesitation. She would smile at him sweetly just like before.
Finally, that delicate face of the newborn he met 21 years ago and Tang Mo’er’s beautiful face in front of him had superimposed.
She was his little bride.
For the past 21 years, he had mistaken Lu Qi’er for his little bride. Lu Qi’er had assumed the identity of the treasured daughter of the Lu family instead. Back then, when Old Master Lu mentioned to betroth Lu Qi’er to him, he had blushed hard. When Lu Qi’er turned 18 years old, he had secretly rushed over from the Capital to Karghalik, just to take a look at Lu Qi’er. He tried to rekindle the heart-throbbing emotions he felt back then, but it was all in vain. After all the twists and turns, that newborn was actually Tang Mo’er.
She was right in front of him, and yet he wasn’t aware of it.
21 years ago, he had lost her.
The outcome was great, all things considered. Though 21 years had passed, he had eventually found her again.
For the past 20 years, mere words wouldn’t be enough for him to describe his love for her. It isn’t enough for him to talk about how she had occupied a huge part of his life, his mind was filled with her for the majority of his youth.
“Mo’er.” Gu Mohan furrowed his brows while kissing her forehead and pressing his imposing physique against her body. He wanted to share with her the truth he had discovered, he just couldn’t keep it in. “You’re my little bride, are you aware of that?”
Tang Mo’er stretched out another hand and hugged his trim waist. “I know that I’m your little bride and you’re my Mr Gu.”
She wasn’t aware at all.
She wasn’t aware of his thirst for her. He wanted to possess her, he had waited so long for her. The love he felt for her was insurmountable like the endless sea, the highest mountains.
“My little bride, I’m sorry I’m late…”
He was really late.
If only she hadn’t been swapped as a baby, she would have grown up by his side for the past 20 years. He would have been able to protect her and look over her, guaranteeing her a life without worries.
They had wasted 20 whole years, the 20 years should have belonged to them.
But fate worked in mysterious ways, three years ago, he had fallen in love with her at first glance in the Capital. He had unknowingly fallen in love and his feelings for her only gotten deeper with time.
Tang Mo’er felt that something was strange with her Mr Gu today. Feeling his tense muscles with her tiny hands, they were as tough as steel. She could feel something brewing within him.
She batted her long eyelashes, her eyes suddenly turning red. She felt the urge to just burst out in tears.
It was such a quiet night, she was in his arms and just couldn’t help but feel devastated inside. It felt so bad that it was forcing her into tears.
“Mr Gu, since you’re here for me already, nothing is considered too late. We can’t do anything to change the past and hence I can only ask for you to guide me along for the rest of our lives.”
Guide her along for the rest of their lives.
And beyond that.
Gu Mohan planted multiple kisses on her delicate forehead. He just couldn’t seem to stop, one kiss simply wasn’t enough. He couldn’t figure out why, but he felt his eyes getting watery over time. This woman had filled up his entire heart.
He was happy because of her, but also felt pain just because of her.
“Please also guide me along for the rest of our lives.” His lips traveled down and he lightly pecked on her red lips.
Tang Mo’er smiled brightly, looping her arms around his firm waist. She returned the kiss, though she was rather inexperienced, she made it up by engaging in the kiss with plenty of enthusiasm.
Very quickly, the room was filled with sounds of their watery kisses. Her tongue slipped between his lips and he twined his tongue with hers, reluctant to end the kiss.
Few minutes later, their tongues eventually separated. Their faces flushed with color and they were both breathless.
But their lips were still together, so close they could feel each other’s palpitations. Gu Mohan pinched her narrow waist and his Adam’s apple bobbed. “Mo’er, can I…”
She had felt uncomfortable for the past two days and he didn’t even dare to indulge in their kisses. He was afraid of losing his self-control.
He wanted to restrain himself, he was aware that he was asking for too much and had too strong of a sex drive. Whenever he hugged her, kissed her, or just after a long day of not being able to see her, he could get a hard-on just catching a glimpse of her.
She was right, he was just like a wolfhound.
And so it was torturous for him, he felt as though it had been ages since he last had sex with her. He wanted it so much now but he was afraid that her body wouldn’t be able to handle the strain.
Tang Mo’er wrapped her arms around his neck, she moved closer and kissed him with her swollen and glistening lips. “Mr Gu, no matter what, as long you want to do it, I’ll concede. I’ll always belong to you…”
I’ll always belong to you…
She belonged to Gu Mohan and Gu Mohan only.
Even when she wasn’t feeling well, her body was still lithe and nimble. Her ethereal beauty was extremely attractive to him. She batted her thick eyelashes with unease, her eyes were closed and she didn’t dare to look at him.
“Baby, open your eyes, look at me.” Gu Mohan kissed her red lips while coaxing her with a soothing voice.
Tang Mo’er slowly opened her eyes, making eye contact with him. He had pinned her with a heated gaze.
Tang Mo’er’s originally pale face slowly flushed into an embarrassing red, she bit down on her lower lip with her teeth. She was overcome with shyness, her face blushing red. He was the love of her life.
Gu Mohan’s lips were on hers, he muttered, “My little bride…”
She was finally his.
She had given him his purpose in life.
…
One hour later.
Tang Mo’er was exhausted, she lay on the bed with messy bangs practically stuck to her forehead. The intense activity had depleted her energy levels and sent her right into the land of dreams.
