In the next few days there was Jiang Yuyan’s birthday and this time it was to be celebrated with the whole family instead of celebrating it like the previous year, only Lu Qiang and Jiang Yuyan together . The entire Lu family was invited to Jiang residence in the evening .
The day before the birthday, Lu Qiang had to go out of country Z to handle an important business matter and his presence was necessary . It was difficult for him to make it back to celebrate Jiang Yuyan’s birthday but he promised her that he will be back till the evening to celebrate her birthday with the whole family . Jiang Yuyan was fine with it as she knew he had something important to do .
The night before the birthday when it was about to be twelve am in the clock and the start of Jiang Yuyan’s birthday, she was in her room holding a cell phone in her hand to receive a call from Lu Qiang . As it was her birthday, she knew Lu Qiang would call her before someone else could wish her . She locked the door of her room so that no one could enter inside to disturb her and to wish her before Lu Qiang .
Lying in a bed, Jiyang Yuyan was holding a cell phone in front of her face, looking at the mobile screen which had a clock on it to show the exact timing . As only two minutes left, she smiled ready to receive a call as soon as Lu Qiang’s number flash on the screen . Soon there was a sound but it was not the ringtone of the cell phone but the knocking on the door of her room .
She ignored it as she knew it must be her brother who came to wish her and she didn’t want anyone else to wish her first . She focussed her attention back at the screen waiting for the call . Again there was knocking on the door but she ignored . Finally, it was going to be twelve am in the next few seconds . She heard the sound of the door opening but ignored it as she wanted to receive a call first but before the call came, she heard a voice, “Happy birthday, Yuyan . ”
Moving her sight from the cellphone, Jiang Yuyan looked at the person as she thought she was hallucinating about hearing a voice but soon she realized it was the reality . Seeing the person standing at the side of her feet, she threw the cell phone to one side and jump out of the bed with excitement to hug the person . She was so happy that the words stuck into her throat to say a single word .
The person hugged her back tightly and said, “Happy birthday, love . ”
Jiang Yuyan inhaled deeply while burying her face to smell that familiar scent and said, “It feels so good . I missed this . ” The man smiled . Once she was done, she lifted her head up to look at him, “Thank you so much for coming here . Lu Qiang”
Seeing her happy, Lu Qiang kissed her on the forehead and Jiang Yuan asked, “I locked the door how come you entered inside?”
“I have a strong back up here,” Lu Qiang said and Jiang Yuyan understood and said, “I am glad that you are here . ”
“It’s your birthday so how can I miss it?”
“You said you will come back in the evening so鈥mmm . . . ”
Lu Qiang kissed her for a while and said after parting away, “You always talk so much that I don’t have any other option but to shut you like this . ”
“If this is your way of stopping me from talking, then I will continue talking like this always . ”
“Think before you act as you might regret it later . I might not be able to stop just with the kiss . ”
“Who wants you to stop with just a kiss?”
“Is this your way to prepare yourself for our wedding night?”
“You can say that . ”
“Hmm! Let’s prepare some more, then,” Saying Lu Qinag lifted her in his arms to carry her to the bed . Once they were on the bed, Lu Qiang said, “I was just one day away from you and it felt like an eternity . ”
“I felt the same,” Jiang Yuyan said .
“After this, I will take you wherever I will go so that I won’t miss even a single moment without you . ”
“And who will do the work?”
“You just need to be in front of me and I will do the work too and once that work is done, we can do our personal work too . ” Jiang Yuyan nodded and Lu Qiang kissed her .
The next morning, Lu Qiang and Jiang Yuyan went downstairs after getting ready . When they reached downstairs, Jiang Yang was sitting on the sofa while talking to his father . When he saw Jiang Yuyan and Lu Qiang, he stood up from the sofa to wish his sister . Hugging her, he said, “Happy birthday, little birdie . ”
Hearing what she called her, she frowned, “It’s my birthday . You can at least treat me well today . ”
“Someone is already here to treat you like a princess, so let me be . ” Jiang Yang said while signaling at Lu Qiang . Just then Jiang Peizhi came to her and wished her and in a while, Mo Ruolan too came to the living room and wished her daughter .
When everything was peaceful, suddenly Jiang Yang spoke . “I planned to wish you in the middle of the night but then thought not to disturb both of you . ”
“You did well and thanks for not disturbing us,” Lu Qiang said and others smiled . When these two blatant personalities face each other, it was obvious to hear them talking like this .
In the evening, there was a birthday celebration in Jiang residence and the whole Lu family arrived there . Jiang Yuyan was happy to see everyone . She was staying in a Lu Mansion for a year almost and she already thought of the Lu family as her own .
