Huo Chen’s words reassured her yet Wen He still could not believe it. It remained as if she would wake up from this memorable dream the moment she accepted the ring. It was another moment of silence as Wen He felt drowned by the gazes from the crowd. “Give me that!” She gasped, rolled her eyes and snatched the ring, “Now—can you get up?”
It was a blatant “yes” from her.
Huo Chen smiled.
The rare smile from the cold man was charming so much so that it became the ride to wonderland for the ladies on the floor including Wen He who blushed.
“Hello.” He took the call, “Yes~”

“We’ll talk about this after I get back.” And he hung up.
“Give the ring back to me.” Huo Chen reached out his hand as Wen He returned the ring with scowling eyes. “Take out your right hand.”
And Huo Chen put the ring over her ring finger. The pink diamond glittered upon the spotlight as they slowly crossed fingers together, “Now I’ve got you, Wen He. Whatever happens, you are not allowed to leave me, ever!” His eyes were solemn as his uniform.

But Wen He stopped by the door as she seemed to have forgotten somebody. Looking back, there was Lu Bai giving off a look of disdain as if criticizing her being man-blind.
She giggled before giving Gu Jinzhi another look.
