Chapter 662: Huo Yunting Admits His Mistake
Huo Yunting answered the question before Lu Zhaoyang could, “We are married, and you’re my son. You surname is Huo, not the Huo of Huo Chen, it’s Huo, the Huo of Huo Yunting.”
The little one nodded, not knowing whether he fully understood everything, “Is that so…”
As the ward’s door opened, Huo Yunting looked on, and said gently, “The doctor’s here. You be a good boy and listen to him. A man should never cry!”
“En!” Xuxu nodded with gusto.
The moment he became a father, Huo Yunting found that there was more confidence in his speech.
When the IV needle was put into his hand, Xuxu’s tiny hand held onto Lu Zhaoyang’s finger as he shut his eyes, not daring to look at it.
It was like an ant’s bite, and suddenly he felt a slightly cool liquid flowing inside the tube. It did not hurt any more.
He took a deep breath as he released his grip, his look cute as ever. “Eat, eat. I’m alright now. I did not cry at all!”
“Awesome!”
Lu Zhaoyang gave him a thumbs up, but she was very afraid that he might cry earlier.
Not too long later, the room quieten down, and Xuxu fell asleep.
Huo Yunting and Lu Zhaoyang seated facing each other, as they silently had their meal.
She had yet to relax since yesterday, and was only hoping that Xuxu recovers soon.
She had not had much for breakfast, and now, after a few mouthfuls, Lu Zhaoyang put down her chopsticks and bowl.
“Huo Yunting, let’s head out to talk.”
“Right.” He had been meaning to do so.
On the quiet corridor, only their footsteps were heard.
Lu Zhaoyang stood by the window as she looked at the clear blue sky outside, not knowing how to start the conversation.
Even if Xuxu was his son, what would they do from now on?
“When you said it that day, I did not believe you. It was my fault.” Seeing her not speaking, Huo Yunting took the initiative to break the silence.
“Which day?” She looked sideways, her tone slightly derisive, “Since when you had learn to beat around the bush?”
“That day after you came back, and I went to look for you, asking if you had cheated on me. You said, no.”
So it was true that nothing had happened between her and Huo Chen.
Both of them had left him, not to elope or whatsoever, it was all for her eyes.

Meanwhile, Huo Yunting himself… was an absolute trash.
Lu Zhaoyang sighed, “Huo Yunting, if you would have trusted me, our relationship would have been much better.”
There was a lack of basic trust between them.
“It’s not that I don’t want to trust you,” Huo Yunting could not help but bury her head into his chest, as he hugged her tight. “I was afraid, afraid that you’d be snatched away by Huo Chen. Your love for him was so deep then.”
“Is that so.”
“Yes, I swear! It was my fault, I admit it, and I will not let this happen again.”
A man knows when he needs to take a step back, plus he was the one who had messed things up, and now he was trying to salvage this originally incomplete relationship.
“….. Can you let me go, you’re hugging too tight.”
He was too agitated and had used too much strength, almost choking her out.
Huo Yunting immediately loosened up his grip as he carefully coiled around her, “And to be fair, you were such a vixen, that I had misunderstood you for so long.”
After all, when they met again after so long, the first thing he saw was the little boy calling Huo Chen….. daddy.

“Xuxu assumed that Chen was his father because they shared the same surname. Plus both me and Chen wanted Xuxu to grow up in a healthy environment.”
