“Are you making dinner just by staring at the ingredients, Lu Zhaoyang?”
She heard him before she saw him.
Lu Zhaoyang threw a look at the man without a word. She took out the ingredients and got to work.
No matter what she said, he would never listen anyway.
When she served the dishes on the dining table, she noticed that his belongings were scattered all over the living room.
His leather shoes were by the door. His tea cup was with her tea set, together with his favourite coffee beans and an ashtray.

She was starting to feel angry. Moving in was fine, but why must he ruin her home?!
Huo Yunting stood up slowly from bed and walked to her side. “You are my wife. Your home is my home. I can decorate it however I like. You have to get used to having me by your side. After all, we are legally involved with each other. Come, let’s have dinner.”

Lu Zhaoyang noticed a secretary in the crowd gathering around them. She snapped her fingers and said to her, “Yuan, get me her files.”
“Right away!”
The crowd quieted down. The other staff members who had just arrived at the office joined them too to witness the standoff.
Lu Zhaoyang saw that the woman still had two eggs in her hands. Her forehead still felt a little sore from the attack.
