“Seven thirty. There is still half an hour to go.” Lin Yazhi took a sip of beer and looked at the growing crowd around them. “They have so many fans. I wonder if I can get an autograph later?”

“I have a wide range of interests! I like them old or young. Starlight Quintet won my heart with their melodic voices, especially the guy with a beard and a husky voice. He’s so cool!” Lin Yazhi bobbed her head and spoke with increasing enthusiasm.

Lu Zhaoyang thought that Huo Yunting would finish her off tonight if he heard that.
“You’re so pretty, I’m sure that you wouldn’t need to lift a finger and the guys will come straight to you. Look at that guy with the specs, I think he has stolen a few glances at you. Lu Zhaoyang sighed and put one hand on her forehead. “I think he’s looking at you.”
“No way!” Lin Yazhi objected immediately and then did a double take. She inched closer towards Lu Zhaoyang and said, “You look like you’re not having a good time. If you don’t like it here, we can try somewhere else!”
“It’s fine here. I just find it a little stuffy with so many people in here.”
She felt her cheeks turning red and hot akin to suffocating.
“I see. Well, let me know if you don’t feel like staying anymore.”
The two ladies enjoyed their meal while waiting for the performance to start. When it was time, Lin Yazhi quickly made her way to the dance floor.
Lu Zhaoyang stayed where she was and took in the view of all the people moving around her.
The excitement of the crowd was contagious. Soon, she found herself smiling as she continued to stay quietly at her seat.
She was invited to dance a few times but she rejected them politely every time.
The performance was a mix of loud rock music and quiet love songs. They sang very well.
Lu Zhaoyang noticed the husky voice that Lin Yazhi mentioned earlier. It sounded like the voice of someone who had been through the ravages of time. There was a certain magnetic quality to his voice.
