“Are you sure that there’s nothing suspicious about the goods?” shouted Moxinke with his eyes widened.
“Yes, we are sure. There was only food and clothing.”
“That’s strange…” Moxinke propped up his chin as if he was pondering something important.
In the room were Han Jin, Sunier, Cessacioun and Reg. All the elite members of their team were present. They sat in a circle, discussing this mysterious Justin.
“What kind of person do you think Justin is, Moxinke?” Han Jin asked slowly.
“Justin? A fool!” Moxinke let out a cold snort, “He wants to play with me? Haha…”
“It seems that the man is just a nobody. They probably sent him to test Moxinke.”
“Yes…” Moxinke nodded heavily, but soon realized the hidden meaning of Han Jin’s words. “What is that supposed to mean, Raphael? Only a nobody is needed to test me?” he roared angrily.
“I agree with Raphael,” Sunier interrupted them, “if even Moxinke thinks the man is a fool, it’s easy to imagine how foolish that Justin truly is.”
“You… you are bullshitting!” Moxinke seethed with anger, “He was wearing a jade pendant that was the same as the one we saw last time. Do you still think he is just a nobody?”
“The same as this one?” Han Jin took the jade pendant out from his space ring hurriedly.
“Yes, it was. I can’t be wrong.”
“Who on earth are they?” Han Jin and Sunier said simultaneously after giving each other a look.
“We don’t have to think so much about it right now,” Reg said slowly, “Since they are testing us, they will make contact with us again. Now that the Ninth Town is controlled by us, all we need to do is wait. Be patient.”
“I expect nothing less from a high-grade thief. In terms of patience… none of us can compete with you,” Cessacioun laughed.
“We can do nothing else, but wait.” Han Jin stood up.
“How about… we disguise ourselves as bandits and catch up to them?” Moxinke suggested.
“Your idea is trash as usual,” Sunier rejected mercilessly, “They are only transporting food and clothing this time because they didn’t want to suffer heavy losses just to test you! What would we do with those goods?”
Moxinke scratched his head and changed the topic immediately, “I also heard that the branches of Morgan Commercial Corp in Beitman are still running in an organized manner. The situation is not as bad as we thought.”
“Great!” Han Jin smiled, “We couldn’t help Keeley in the past, but now that we have Reg… we can help Keeley retake her power sooner or later.”

It must be said that having power is very enjoyable. If there were journalists in this world, and they came to interview Han Jin about his feelings of owning his own territory, he would tell all of them the same answer—relieving, free, and satisfying!
Han Jin no longer had to conduct his experiments secretly. No one would disturb him no matter how loud of a noise he had made and how many monsters he had created. Also, Keeley could now go shopping by herself without fear of being harassed. On top of all that, the first and second cavalry regiments had their own magicians. Though there were only six, each went through proper training and had their own equipment and resources. For example, they had their own lab, library, and many finished magic scrolls. Cessacioun was like a fish in water in such an environment.
Compared to their previous living conditions, this place was like a paradise of their own!
All of these were brought by power and influence.

One day, Cessacioun came out from inside the room and wanted to take a breath of fresh air in the courtyard, but ran head-on into Moxinke and Sylner.
“Where are you going?” Moxinke asked, carrying a sword on his back and sweating profusely. He must have just finished practicing his sword forms.
“I’m going to take a break in the courtyard,” Cessacioun replied. Unfortunately for him, the wind was blowing toward him. He was almost suffocating from the stench of sweat coming from Moxinke, yet he was too embarrassed to make any obvious moves. In the end, he only took a small step to the side
“Where is Raphael?” Moxinke blocked his way again and asked, showing no intention of letting him go so easily.
“He went out with Sunier,” Cessacioun replied casually, eager to get rid of this ‘masculine’ man who stunk of sweat.
“What? With Sunier? Again?” Moxinke’s eyes lit up as he exclaimed with his body leaning closer toward Cessacioun.
“What’s wrong? Are there any problems with them going out together?” Sylner asked confusedly.
“Go away. Don’t disturb us when we are talking.” Moxinke pushed Sylner into the room impatiently and went out to the courtyard with one of his arms hugging around Cessacioun’s shoulder, regardless of whether Cessacioun was willing or not.
“Cessacioun, have you noticed that they have been going out together a lot recently?” Moxinke lowered his voice and asked mysteriously.
Cessacioun didn’t expect Moxinke to drag him aside for something so trivial. He pulled the dirty hand off his shoulder and refuted back, “Does this have anything to do with you?”
“Of course it does!” Moxinke grasped Cessacioun and continued gossiping, “How could you be so apathetic when something so big is happening within our team?”
“Well…” Cessacioun stood there helplessly, not because he didn’t want to leave, but because he was not as strong as Moxinke.
“What’s wrong with them spending time together? They do that all the time, don’t they?” Cessacioun asked.
“That is the key to the problem! Why do they go out together? Where have they gone? What are they doing? Do you know any of that?” Moxinke’s voice turned louder and louder unconsciously. Even Steelberg, who was tidying things up at the other side of the courtyard, stopped to listen.
“Of course I don’t. What… do you know?”
“Ha! That is the difference between a man and a boy!” Moxinke patted Cessacioun’s shoulder proudly with a smug expression as if saying ‘I’m better than you’.
“Better than you at least! Look at yourself!” Cessacioun blushed and raised his voice, “Tell me, what are they doing?”
“Haha. They are…” Before Moxinke finished his words, an arrow pierced through the air and accurately landed right in front of Moxinke’s feet.
Moxinke stood frozen in his spot. He wasn’t frightened by the arrow, but by the two figures standing near the courtyard gate. Han Jin and Sunier were standing there, staring at him. More importantly, Sunier was pulling back the longbow in her hand again.
Han Jin smiled, showing no trace of anger at all. On the contrary, he was in a good mood.
He went from the gate into the courtyard slowly, his hands behind his back. When he passed by Moxinke, he paused and patted his shoulder.
“To be frank, I really admire your courage, Moxinke,” Han Jin said this then walked past him unhurriedly.
“Sun… Sunier…” Moxinke swallowed his saliva hard and racked his brain to bluff it out.
Woosh. Another arrow flew past his neck. The cold wind brought by the arrow made goosebumps rise all over his body.
Moxinke dashed into the room as if he was scared out of his wits. Though he knew Sunier would never hurt him, he realized that he was in the wrong here, and he had to run away to avoid facing Sunier.
“How bored are you?” Sunier snorted. No one could see the expression on her face because of the mask, but her eyes looked unnatural, more or less.
“Sunier, you know me. Why would I talk to him about such a thing? He forced me…” Cessacioun explained immediately.
Sunier cast him a disdainful glance and left the courtyard. Actually, she had not finished her talk with Han Jin yet but was not in the mood to continue after this whole ordeal.
Looking at the back of Sunier, Cessacioun let out a sigh of relief. Just then, the voice of Sylner came from the room. She used to speak in a clear and happy voice, but now, it was dripping with sarcasm, “What did you just say, Moxinke?”
“What did I say?” Moxinke probed carefully, making no direct reply.
“You don’t remember your own words?!” Sylner suddenly screamed angrily.
“What on earth did I say?” Moxinke did not concede. He shouted, “I was almost killed by that ruthless elf, but you didn’t show any sympathy to me and started shouting at me too! What did I do to deserve this?!”
“The difference between a man and a boy?!” Sylner said while gnashing her teeth. “So, you are a man now, a true man, aren’t you?!”
“Wh… what man?” Moxinke’s face turned pale immediately.
The next moment, his figure disappeared from the door, leaving only the sound of wind in the air. Cessacioun lifted his head toward the sky with a helpless expression on his face. “Could you please go fight in your own room?” he said with a long sigh.
Reg appeared at the courtyard gate all of a sudden. “Raphael, Cessacioun, you are all here! How convenient! Wait… what’s happening?”
“Moxinke and Sylner are having a fight again,” Cessacioun said with a bitter smile, but he soon saw that Reg looked solemn. “What’s wrong?”
“Something weird happened outside the town. I think… we should take a look,” Reg said slowly.
“Is it about Morgan Commercial Corp, or… did the general of the Riptide Regiment reply?” Han Jin asked.
“Neither. You will see soon enough.”
