Dohyuk looked down at himself. Blass then stood up from his seat.
The structure of the body. Since he made his metal body to fight continuously for the eternity to come, Blass knew the structure of human anatomy very well.
If…
‘If I had more information about his current body when I made mine… my body would have been different.’
Blass then distanced himself from Dohyuk who was still preparing himself to fight and flicked his hand.
“Come. I believe you can do more.”
Without answering, Dohyuk tightened his muscles. There was only one way to see how it worked. Dohyuk needed to give it a try.
“It’s your turn now. Give your 100% and fight me. I will match your power…”
Before Blass finished, Dohyuk charged.
“So, it’s there?”
About 4 km away from the hill they were standing on, Kim Chanyul clearly saw a place no normal human could see with their naked eyes.
“Yes, sir!”
His man shouted loudly, but Chanyul already knew the answer. There was a vast plain in front of him, and within it was a city where the man who beat Jung Ilgyu was at, along with the slaves.
“Let the kids know that time is up. We’ll ambush them right after we gather everyone.”
“Yessir!”
Kim Chanyul was a Four Circle. He was the one who controlled the area north of Busan, or old Ulsan. As Ilgyu marched toward the plains with 30 thousand slaves, Chanyul was organizing supplies in Ulsan to move down.
That’s when he heard that Jung Ilgyu had lost. He could have run, but he chose a more careful option. He unpacked his supplies and had his men placed near the high grounds of the vast plains and the city to keep an eye out on Yoo Dohyuk.
He did not have any plans to fight. If the man was stronger than Ilgyu, it seemed like it was a good idea to check the man’s character and ask for his mercy rather than running away or fighting him head on.
However, Dohyuk’s movement was really strange.
“What the f*ck are they doing in there?”
150 days had already passed. It had been 5 months since Dohyuk defeated Jung Ilgyu, yet Yoo Dohyuk was still not coming out from his city. The only thing that his men noticed was that a strange-looking, giant dome appeared about 3 weeks after Ilgyu lost. And that there were farmlands being worked on with the help of the Bermurans who often visited the city.
“Are they having fun in there or something? Is a sex party going on with all those slave girls and food stacked inside?”
Food was, of course, important. Jung Ilgyu had no interest, but the Three or Four Circles knew the importance of supplies and the need to use their slaves for those resources. But was work for the slaves. However, Yoo Dohyuk and his possible fighters never came out to the plains.
Why would they do that?
There was no way to earn coins and equipment within the city. Even if the city had a way to earn a tremendous amount of coins along with Ilgyu’s equipment, it was more efficient to travel across the regions and find other ways to earn coins.
Kim Chanyul himself had been doing exactly that during the past five months.
For five long months, he had roamed across all of Busan where there was no tyrant and increased his power. Chanyul was now easily stronger than Jung Ilgyu of 5 months ago. He was now probably stronger than Yoo Dohyuk too.
The world was crazed with power inflation. 5 months of doing nothing was practically suicide. His men, along with Chanyul, had grown and multiplied in power.
“Rejoice!” Chanyul licked his lips as he spoke to his men.
“Everything inside. The food, shelter, and flesh. All ours.”
“…”
“…”
All the beasts that had gathered had bloodshot eyes as they were itching to rush in. They had been putting in the effort to become stronger and did nothing else. Because of that, they now were confident that they were the strongest group in the region. Now, all they needed was a resting place before they could set out on a new raiding adventure: a place where they could eat, drink, and pillage.
“Anything that stands in our way-”
“KILL THEM!”
“Anything that you want-”
“TAKE IT!”
“LET’S GO!”
Kim Chanyul turned back and began walking. Over fifty beasts followed him.
They did not know that even before they departed for the city, everyone citizen knew that they were there. And they were not afraid of them at all.
