Everyone was left dumbfounded, not knowing what actually happened and how Taichu Path’s site was reduced to ashes.
Despite their curiosity, none of them dared to get close.
Regardless of who attacked Taichu Path, there was no doubt that the party responsible was one of two things: it was either an exceptionally powerful individual fighter or a group from sacred grounds. It was clear that the other clans and sects were never given the chance to interfere.
Anyone who dared to do that against a sacred ground like Taichu Path had to have been anything but ordinary.
One could’ve even said that someone exceptionally terrifying was behind it all.
Nobody else was willing to throw away their lives to find out.
“A storm is coming that will affect all of us. Our time of peace is over.”
“Taichu Path’s old site had just been ravaged, and now the new site got attacked as well. I wonder just how Taichu Path ended up being so unlucky.”
“The heavens have answered our prayers, I guess. Taichu Path had always been too full of themselves; serves them right for acting so high and mighty!”
Many people were lurking nearby. Some of them felt sorry for those who were from Taichu Path, while others secretly applauded the sect’s misfortune.
The Taichu Path had been throwing their weight all over the place and imposing themselves upon others. It went without saying that Taichu Path had severely abused some of the nearby cultivation forces nearby in one way or another.
The victims of their abuse had no way of rebelling against the Taichu Path; they were forced to endure all of the mistreatment.
Even if the expressions on their faces didn’t show it, those people whom Taichu Path had abused were all happy to see their abusers suffering so much.
With how Taichu Path went about their business, it meant that they had offended countless people throughout the entire Blessed Enclave.
However, nobody else had been able to stand up against them because they were just too powerful to stand up against. As a result, those from Taichu Path were allowed to do as they pleased.
Before long, the onlookers then caught sight of disciples emerging from deep within the sect’s line of sight.
They intercepted a few of those disciples to find all of them with expressions of terror. It seemed as if they had just seen a ghost or something.
“There’s a devil in there! A devil, I tell you!”
“He’s going to kill us all! He’s going to kill us all!”
“There’s a devil!”
The escaped disciples from Taichu Path all looked mentally shaken as if they had been deeply traumatized by all the atrocities they were forced to witness.
“What have they been through?”
Many people felt that something was off.
Following that, the news spread like wildfire.
“Ye Xuan, the grand ancestor of the Taichu Path, is not around right now. I’m afraid things will take a turn for the worse when he returns.”
“As long as the grand ancestor is still around, Taichu Path would definitely be able to stay afloat.”
Some people commented on the situation.
Everyone was waiting for the grand ancestor to return.
Only then would everything truly begin.
More cultivation forces then caught wind of the news. More and more fighters headed to the ravaged battlefield as soon as they got the news.
It was possible for Taichu Path to be annihilated sometime in the future. Even if the sect managed to survive, the damage incurred would be crippling.
They would’ve suffered more casualties than when the sect’s old sect had been attacked days ago. That battle, where Yan Han the sacred son had almost perished, was nothing compared to what just happened.
The new site of Taichu Path was of the utmost importance; countless formidable fighters gathered around while a variety of countermeasures were put in place. Nobody could fathom how the place was trashed so badly.
Many found the news utterly unbelievable, yet the bringers of the news were very firm with their words. This certainty prompted many people to go there themselves out of curiosity.
At that moment, Lu Xuan was hovering high above the site of the Taichu Path, looking at a transportation formation not far away.
A terrifying aura emanated from it as it dazzled with a blinding light.
Someone was about to go through that portal.
Lu Xuan slashed out right away, cleaving the transportation formation into two halves and causing it to explode right away.
He smirked as he watched the explosion happen. He obviously knew who was at the other end; it was likely none other than the rand ancestor, Ye Xuan.
He managed to get to the portal earlier and destroyed it on the spot.
Doing so enabled him to prevent the grand ancestor of the Taichu Path from appearing right behind him upon emerging from the transportation formation.
The Blessed Enclave was not that huge; it was far smaller than Earth. Even so, it would have still taken quite some time for the grand ancestor to get back by flying.
That time was of utmost importance to Lu Xuan.
By then, nobody remained within the site of the sect. The flames burning on the battlefield spread as far as the eye could see, making every place there look like Hell.
All of the sect’s survivors had fled outside. The only ones who remained in it were those whom Lu Xuan himself had cut down, as well as those who were either killed or blown up by the numerous lightning dragons.
Lu Xuan had no intention of continuing his pursuit; he no longer needed to do so.
He had fulfilled his goal of destroying Taichu Path, after all.
The supreme ones among the Taichu Path’s ranks had been decimated, reduced to a fraction so small that they would no longer be able to amount to anything noteworthy.
Now, Lu Xuan only had two targets from Taichu Path that he wanted to get rid of: Yan Han, and the grand ancestor Ye Xuan.
Yan Han was currently at the Shenyao Sect instead of the Taichu Path, so Lu Xuan did not manage to kill him.
Even so, there was still some good news. Because Lu Xuan had crippled Yan Han during that battle, the latter’s foundations were damaged. He only managed to bare stay alive under the care of those from Taichu Path.
His injuries were so severe that they had to send him to the Shenyao Sect for treatment.
The only person Lu Xuan needed to face was none other than Ye Xuan the grand ancestor.
Lu Xuan commented, “Time to settle this once and for all.”
He then disappeared from where he stood and headed towards a mountain deep within the site of the sect. There was a massive vault built within, containing all the riches and resources that the Taichu Path had taken throughout the ages.
Naturally, all of that would fall into Lu Xuan’s hands once he took out the Taichu Path.
Boom!
He shattered the gate of the vault right away with a single swing of his Dragonslayer.
All of the vault’s contents were laid out before him in an instant.
A variety of treasures had been neatly organized by their attributes and uses.
At the outermost part of the vault was a mountain of spirit stones, the exact number of stones hard to count.
Using his will, Lu Xuan scanned the pile to find that the mountain consisted of over 50 million spirit stones.
That pile was just one of the treasures contained within the vault of the sect, but that mountain had more spirit stones than Lu Xuan had found throughout the world.
It was plain to see that the Earth Federation was far from being as wealthy as the Blessed Enclave. All of it was made possible only because they had a monster such as Lu Xuan around.
Without him, it would have been nearly impossible for those of the Earth Federation to resist the Blessed Enclave.
Furthermore, there were still a variety of herbs scattered all over the vault that had been stocked for over centuries and even a millennium.
Only a sect like Taichu Path, which had been around for over 1000 years, would’ve been able to easily gather so many herbs that had been around for centuries and even over a millennium.
There were also divine materials that could be used to craft power items of all kinds. Coincidentally, this allowed Lu Xuan to compensate for his lacking fundamentals due to having progressed too quickly.
Lu Xuan conjured a massive hand right away and shoved all of those treasures into his ring, filling it to the brim.
