Yin Hu watched with his very own eyes how Lu Xuan just killed that Japanese Celestial with a single punch earlier.
Yin Hu recalled the evaluation his organization had of Lu Xuan before, where most thought Lu Xuan to be but a common Deity Level being. And despite having made it to become an Invincible Vajra, he was still deemed to be a common Invincible Vajra Level fighter.
Lu Xuan’s title as the number one in all of Min Province might have been very fearsome, but he was nonetheless taken to only be a fighter at the provincial level.
There were tens of fighters who were number one in their respective provinces throughout the country, after all.
Lu Xuan was never seen fighting again for quite some time, and as such, no one knew if he had actually broken into Invincible Vajra level.
Yin Hu thought just wrong the organization had been with Lu Xuan’s evaluation.
None of them would have thought so if they were to be able to see Lu Xuan fight with their own eyes.
Lu Xuan was definitely no common Invincible Vajra Level fighter, as his fighting prowess had reached some unfathomable heights.
The Dragon Soul needed fighters of such frightening caliber more than anything else at the moment, which was why Yin Hu extended his invitation with all sincerity.
He was not the organization’s leader, but then again, the Dragon Soul was fundamentally an organization with a loose sense of hierarchy in the first place, with members basically being equals, instead of being an organization with a clear hierarchy like the Special Task Force.
As such, even the head of the organization had a hard time putting a leash on the members.
Furthermore, he believed without a doubt that the head would definitely agree to having a fighter of such caliber in their ranks.
Celestials could only be taken out by celestials, and having just one more added to their ranks was of utmost importance to the Dragon Soul at current stages.
Lu Xuan considered the offer for a bit before rejecting it altogether. He had joined the Special Task Force back then precisely because he needed to trade resources with the Special Task Force. There was simply no need for him to join the Dragon Soul.
Furthermore, he was treated as the Dragon’s equal in the Special Task Force, and it was absurd to think that he would be alright with being treated as a lesser being in the Dragon Soul.
“It’s okay.”
Yin Hu felt it was quite a waste when he said that.
“But, if you run into any Celestials that you guys are unable to take on, feel free to look for me at Yunxuan Villa,” Lu Xuan thought and added.
“Thank you, Mr. Lu!”
Yin Hu was elated. One way or another, the benefits granted to the Dragon Soul was undeniable, with help enlisted from someone as powerful as Lu Xuan.
“There is one other thing I’d like your help with, Mr. Lu,” Yin Hu said.
“Shoot away,” Lu Xuan frowned and said.
“There is another member beside this guy from the Amaterasu-gumi who has gotten into Min Province. We need to find him, or he will become a great threat given enough time.”
Yin Hu paused.
Lu Xuan recalled that Japanese fighter having mentioned about a compatriot of his. If they were to let that other Japanese fighter run free in Min Province, it would have caused a grave threat to the peace of the entire place.
“Let me do some calculations for a bit.”
Lu Xuan picked up an item from that Japanese fighter and began to count with his fingers. Yin Hu stayed by his side, not daring to make a sound. He knew that there were cultivators who were of entirely different fields and disciplines, after all.
Such calculations might look surreal, but it was not like such things were absurd and impossible.
Lu Xuan opened his eyes after a while and said, “I found him. Somewhere 30 kilometers east from here.”
…
A man who wore a golden robe walked into an abandoned factory. He took off the oni mask on his face and revealed himself to be a man in his middle age.
Kojima Hideo sat down and began to count his loot picked off of Huaxia throughout his time there.
“Huaxia really is some special place for cultivation indeed. I never thought I’d be able to bag this many goodies just taking out several lesser sects.”
If there were to be any cultivators from Japan, they would have been able to recognize him instantly. That middle-aged man was a very renowned figure among the Japanese cultivators, after all.
He was a very renowned onmyoji in the Kanto region of Japan.
He came to Huaxia and destroyed several lesser sects in secret and taken a considerable amount of loot with him, more than enough for him to further his cultivation.
Being able to move around and do whatever he pleased was the very reason why he joined the Amaterasu-gumi in the first place.
No one would have gotten rich without getting their hands dirty after all.
He had to consider his reputation and effects he would have wrought if he were to do so in Japan, which would have prevented him from going all out. In Huaxia, however, there was no need for him to consider such things.
Taking out lesser sects in Huaxia and boosting themselves using resources of Huaxia, was how all the countries around Huaxia was doing it after all.
He knew that there were even fighters from the states and Europe coming all the way to Huaxia just to do so.
His phone rang at that moment. A video popped open, and there was yet another figure wearing a golden robe seen on the other end.
“We’ve bagged quite a lot of loot this time in Huaxia. My investigations say that there is a sect that is deemed the strongest in the north. It’s called the Seven Invincible Sect. There is hardly any fighter of caliber worth mentioning in their ranks, but they have considerable resources in the midst. We would have a lot to gain by taking out that Seven Invincible Sect. Well, I’d need you to arrange a ship for me to get all those resources back to Japan, chief,” Kojima Hideo elaborated.
“Tengu, leave Min Province at once!” the man from the other end of the video call said.
“Why?” Kojima Hideo asked. “Tengu” was his call sign, taken after a god in the Japanese pantheon.
“Onmoraki is dead!” the guy from the other end of the video said.
“We are receiving no signs of life from him on our end. If we were right, he was probably killed already.”
Kojima Hideo was very shocked right away. He knew that “Onmoraki” referred to the other Japanese fighter who he came to Huaxia with on that trip.
They laid out a trap to take on Yin Hu from Huaxia on that trip. He was responsible for taking on any who would back Yin Hu up, while Onmoraki was responsible for killing Yin Hu.
He did not doubt the words of the man from the other end one bit, because the golden robes they wore were not some common clothing, to begin with. The golden robes were made using advanced methods, which would transmit their life signs and locations back to Japan at any given moment.
There could only be one reason why a life sign was lost in this case—the man wearing the robe was dead.
“How could this be? Yin Hu was already poisoned, and there shouldn’t be anybody in all of Min Province capable of taking on Onmoraki!”
Kojima Hideo found that utterly unbelievable.
“I found that unbelievable as well, but according to what we have on our hands, there shouldn’t be someone that powerful in Min Province. Even that Dragon you guys were to run into the Dragon in Huaxia, or Chen Long from the Dragon Soul, you both should have been able to escape unscathed.”
The man on the other end felt very puzzled as well.
“One way or another, get out of there as soon as possible.”
Kojima Hideo paused and said, “I don’t believe there is such a powerful fighter here in Min Province. There was only one possibility why Onmoraki is dead—he was killed by Yin Hu when the latter retaliated before dying.”
He did not believe one bit that such a fighter would have emerged in Min Province all of a sudden. He stood up after he said that and looked outside the gates of the warehouse.
He had no idea since when there had been two figures standing there.
