Claire threw her school bag on the desk. “I’m fine. Shut up.”

The recipient of the email was a journalist called Brent, but the sender was anonymous.
Claire instantly realized that something was wrong.
According to the email, Brent was paid to write a report exposing Claire’s scandal. A photo was attached to the email, which was the one published in the newspaper. The anonymous person also stated at the end of the mail that one hundred thousand dollars had been transferred into Brent’s account.
This sufficed to explain that this scandal regarding her and Sheldon was manufactured by someone and the target was clearly her.
Claire had already guessed this.
Derek’s eyes stared wide open. “Wow! Where did you get this email from?”
Dora raised her head and said triumphantly, “It’s a coincidence that this newspaper is owned by Rickie’s company, so it was easy for me to get it!”
