Feng Tianlan stared at the jewel for a very long time. However, she still couldn’t figure it out. She then put this little stone into her safety rune and sealed it tightly before putting it into her shirt.
“Oh, right. Who is the current lord of Xuantian Alliance?” Feng Tianlan asked.
Shen Liang shook his head. “I don’t know. He still hasn’t shown up. However, the master of the alliance has retracted your decree. I think the new lord will appear with a new decree very soon.”
Feng Tianlan frowned slightly. “The master of Xuantian Alliance must be in Lin’an City. However, I have never seen him anywhere in the city. I wonder what’s the point of him hiding so secretively.”

The Mid-Autumn Festival in Lin’an City was very lively. Various types of lanterns were hung all over the city. Many performers were performing various tricks in the crowd. The fire-breather breathed out an extremely tall fire. The streets were filled with all sorts of performances that could dazzle one’s eyes.
Si Mobai and Feng Tianlan were now famous in Lin’an City. Wherever they go, a path would be opened for them by the crowd. Who dared to touch the Demon King or block his path?
“Mobai, this is really boring.” Feng Tianlan frowned and looked at the lively crowd who backed off immediately after seeing them. Even the fire-breathing performance came to a halt just for them to pass by.
This scenario had happened several times. She couldn’t enjoy the joyous atmosphere of the Mid-Autumn Festival at all.
Si Mobai lowered his head and glanced at her. With just one glance, he could figure out what she was thinking immediately. He then raised his head and looked at the stall that was selling masks nearby. “Let us wear masks then. That way, they wouldn’t be able to recognize us anymore.”
Feng Tianlan nodded. She then pulled Si Mobai over to the mask stall and chose two bunny masks. After putting up her own mask, she beckoned him to come over with her index finger. “Come over here. I will put it on for you.”
Si Mobai looked at the greyish bunny mask. He then curled his lips and bent over to let her put it on for him. Her warm, fresh breath sprayed on his face and mixed up with his. He lowered his head and tried to kiss her. However, his kiss was obstructed by their masks. Knock, his mask was slightly crooked.
Feng Tianlan raised her hand and poked the bunny’s nose on his mask. Her chuckle sounded as crisps as a bell. “Lecher. I will punish you when we get home.”
“Alright.” Si Mobai replied in a pampering manner.
Feng Tianlan raised her head and looked at the different types of lanterns that were hung up high. “Mobai, let’s light up some lanterns and make some wishes later.”
She wanted to make a wish related to Mobai.
“Lan’er seems to like bunnies a lot.” Si Mobai saw her gaze falling onto a bunny-shaped lantern. He then raised his eyebrows slightly and wanted to buy it from the peddler.
Feng Tianlan reached out her hand and stopped him. “Don’t. There are too many similar lanterns around. You should participate in the riddle-solving competition later and become the winner. There is only one of such lanterns made every year.”
“Solving riddles? Childish!” However, if Lan’er liked it, he had to do it no matter how childish it was.
Feng Tianlan held her wrist as she raised her head and looked at him. “I heard that riddle-solving is one of the most popular activities among young couples during festive seasons. It is also something all couples must do. Are you sure you’re not going?”
“Something all couples must do?” Si Mobai frowned. He then lowered his head and looked at her tenderly. “Is there anything else that a couple must do?”
