”You gave to take them to her, her signature is needed before we can proceed with the annulment.”
Fu Lei took a good look at them before saying, “Father still left the house for her after all she has done?”
He just saw that the house was still in the agreement just as Fu Juan had requested before the current incident. He was thinking that it would have been removed given how many atrocities she had committed.
”If he doesn’t leave the house, where else are we supposed to take her belongings to?” Fu Geming asked.
Fu Juan and Lanying’s things were still in the Fu house and by Grandfather Fu’s order, they were to be taken back to her house.
Fu Lei got the message and walked out with the divorce papers, he was going to give them to Fu Juan to sign immediately, so the proceedings can go on.
Fu ChuHua was busy ordering the servants around. Since Fu Juan and Lanying’s properties had to be taken away, she had to see that the servants do not miss anything.
After packing their things in their luggage, Fu ChuHua ordered for the 2 bedrooms to be cleaned up and sanitized.
”I don’t want to perceive any odor relating to them, clean the rooms properly!”
When the servants were done, their luggage was taken outside the house and put in the car Fu Geming was going out with.
He had to take care of things at Fu Juan’s house as well, and pay a visit to her company.
In the evening of the same day, Jasmine was cane home with her parents. The little girl was in her father’s arms and looked so happy to be given a warm welcome by everyone.
Fu Hua knew how active the little girl was, and letting her walk by herself, would lead to her playing around.
She just got out of the hospital, so he was being very careful and protective of her.
Jasmine didn’t forget to ask about her ice cream when everywhere had settled down.
”Wait a little while okay? Maybe tomorrow evening, your stomach will be set to welcome cold things okay?” Fu Hee said giving her a thumbs up.
Jasmine nodded and went ahead to mention all the ice cream flavors she wanted to have a taste of, and of course, her grandmother welcomed her special request.
”Jasmine, let’s go and see great-grandpa, he is sick.” Jia Li motioned to the little girl.
”Great-grandpa is ill?” Jasmine asked with a surprised gaze and in the next second, the look on her face turned to worry after her father confirmed it.
Now the little girl couldn’t wait to see her old man so, the family of 3 left for Grandfather Fu’s bedroom.
When they go there, they saw Butler Li standing guard aside. Since the doctor said no one should disturb the old man and allow him to have plenty of rest, Butler Li swang into action.
He was staying there to avoid any family members from coming too close, and also to stop the old man from leaving because he could be stubborn at times.
But actually, there was no need for him to pay this much attention because the old man was too weak to leave his bed.
Someone that seemed very healthy in the morning looked worse by evening.
”Is my grandfather sleeping?” Fu Hua asked in a low tone. In case the old man was sleeping, he didn’t want to take him up with a loud voice.
”He woke some minutes ago as he has been sleeping all day.” The Butler replied.
”Da Xia is back,” That’s all Fu Hua said before leading his wife and daughter inside the bedroom.
There was no need to take permission to enter because what he was going in for, will help the old man to feel better.
There was no way Butler Li would stop them from going in because the old man has been very worried about his family’s little princess and couldn’t stay put.
He even believed that it must have been one of the reasons his blood pressure was still high.
Grandfather Fu was so delighted to see his great-granddaughter and immediately tried to sit up on the bed, but Jia Li rushed to his side, offering him some assistance.
”Grandfather don’t move, I will help you!”
”How are you?” The old man asked as she helped him to relax his back on the pillow. He looked so exhausted, and his eyes were tired despite having slept for long hours.
Hearing the weakness in his voice, Jia Li sat on the side of his bed and gazed at him properly. Now that she was looking at him, he seemed to have aged rapidly.
Jia Li was afraid that he wouldn’t have much time left. She didn’t know the reason she was having a bad feeling after seeing him so weak.
Nodding, she replied to his question, “I’m doing fine grandfather, see, Da Xia is back.”
She didn’t want to continue having those thoughts, so she changed the topic.
Grandfather Fu looked past her and fixed a warm gaze at Jasmine who was staring at him with worry.
Since she heard he was sick, she was afraid of startling him with her excitement, hence she didn’t say a word and watched him from her father’s side.
But now that he had called for her, she had to go to his side. Without saying anything to him, Fu Hua brought her down from his arms, so she could walk to the old man herself.
”Great-grandpa!” Jasmine called out with a smile.
”My Da Xia, come let this old man see if you have gotten better,” The old man said as he checked her out with his eyes.
Although he didn’t set his eyes on her the previous day when the incident happened, he was able to tell the difference still.
Jasmine twirled slowly, so her old man could have a good look at her.
”Great-grandpa see, I’m all better now!” Jasmine said when she came to a stop.
The old man frowned slightly and said, “You look like you have lost some weight.”
