At the Fu mansion, FangSu caused a huge commotion while calling YingPei to get his car keys.
”Why are you screaming, have you lost your manners?” Fu Hee asked angrily as she walked out of the kitchen, after hearing her loud urgent tone.
”Mum, Jasmine is in danger!” FangSu said urgently.
Immediately Fu Hee lost her composure and asked with a worried gaze, “What happened to her, where is she?”
”She is outside, Jia Li is with her! I need YingPei to get his car keys and drive them to the hospital!” FangSu said and immediately disappeared up the stairs.
’My granddaughter is in danger? Oh no! what happened to her?!’
Fu Hee quickly rushed outside to see what was going on.
A few servants who had the commotion, also rushed outside to see what was happening.
Fu Hee went straight to the veranda and found the mother and daughter. Jia Li’s eyes were already ref, while Jasmine sat on her little chair while propping her upper body on the table with a pained expression on her face.
”Da Xia!” Fu Hee called out and rushed to her side.
”Mum!” Jia Li called out in tears. She was in that kind of situation where she didn’t know what to do.
She couldn’t lift Jasmine because her tummy was hurting badly, she was afraid that her condition could get worst if she shook her.
Even with her baby bump, Jia Li was ready to carry her little girl in her arms.
Seeing the cold sweat on her granddaughter’s forehead, Fu Hee looked more worried than ever as she turned to fix her gaze on Jia Li.
”Jia Li what happened to her?!”
”Mum, it’s food poisoning! Lanying fed her bananas when she was already drinking a glass of milk.” Jia Li revealed as tears fell down her cheeks.
When Fu Hee heard Lanying’s name, her gaze turned frosty.
”You mean that stupid girl Fu Juan brought to this house dared to harm my grandchild?!” Fu Hee chastised.
She was fuming mad at this point.
FangSu who ran upstairs to call YingPei succeeded in finding him. When he learned of what happened to Jasmine, he quickly left his bedroom after taking his phone.
”Where is your car key?” FangSu asked as she chased after him. Because of their physical differences, she had a hard time trying to catch up with him.
YingPei was literally jumping down the stairs.
”I can’t take the sports car, I would have to take the Mercedes Van for more comfort,” YingPei replied before disappearing from her view.
YingPei was very fast in his actions, as he quickly went to the inner sitting room close to Grandfather Fu’s study to pick up the car key before rushing outside.
By the time he appeared outside, two cars used by the bodyguards were already assembled. This was what Fu Hee could do before he could come out.
Immediately, one of the bodyguards, lifted Jasmine up and carried her into the Mercedes Van, while Jia Li and Fu Hee followed up immediately.
Fu Hee looked at Jia Li and worried for her. There was no way she could tell her to stay back when her daughter’s life was in danger.
Speedily, YingPei got into the driver’s seat and ignited the car’s engine before driving off in the company of the two cars, carrying the few bodyguards coming along with them.
By the time they had left, there was a big commotion going on inside the house already.
FangSu went to Lanying’s bedroom to find her. She kicked the door open and searched her room, but couldn’t find her.
Thinking that she was hiding away after attempting to kill her niece, FangSu deployed all the servants in the house to drop what they were doing and search for her.
By the time the house was busy, the rest of the family members had already heard of what happened and were already making their way out.
When Grandfather Fu heard from Butler Li of the danger his beloved great-granddaughter was put into by Lanying, he almost went into shock.
”Where is Da Xia?” Grandfather Fu asked as he left his seat and hurried toward him with great worry.
”She is being taken to the hospital. Madam Hee, YingPei, and Jia Li are in her company, with a few bodyguards.” Butler Li reported with a downcasted look on his face.
Even with that report, the old man couldn’t calm down.
”Where is that despicable girl Fu Juan brought into this house? Drag her out for me!!!” Grandfather Fu commanded with a grave expression on his face.
Butler Li bowed and quickly left his sight, leaving the old man to find his way by himself.
Butler Li couldn’t get any happier than now. He had been waiting for the time the old man would send those two away, but it looks like something grave gas to happen before he could become strict once again.
With the help of the remaining bodyguards in the house, it wasn’t long before Lanying was found and dragged to the big sitting room where the rest of the family members were waiting for her.
Before she was found, Fu Juan who was having a good nap, woke up due to the commotion and came out to find out what was going on, but FangSu issued a command for her to be taken into custody.
”Who knows if she had a hand in this, take her and keep an eye on her!” FangSu had commanded, and immediately, 4 servants surrounded her and dragged her away despite her hysterical protests.
