From that day onwards, they were going to work with her every day until she gives birth to her children.
Fu Hua already spoke with his mother Fu Hee. Being the mistress of the family and as Jia Li’s mother-in-law, she had to be aware of such arrangements.
Fu Hee agreed and even blamed herself for not thinking to that length as a woman.
After having a short conversation with the two women, Jia Li liked them and told Fu Hua about it, and they went on to sign the contract.
Her personal dietician had to spend her whole day at the Fu house, and only return to her house in the evening after preparing Jia Li’s dinner.
As for the yoga coach, she would only come early in the morning and leave after their morning section, but when Jia Li enters her third trimester, she would have to come twice a day, as they would be having a morning and evening section.
A few days later, Fu Juan doesn’t leave the house, which was a little surprising. They have given her enough time to grieve for her husband who was hospitalized, but she still didn’t want to leave.
Fu Juan already had her plans hatched out, so how could she leave? More so, she has already gone this far, so how was that possible?
Fu Juan knew that soon, the old man would ask her to leave, so before he could say that, she already went to meet him to beg with tears in her eyes.
She asked him to extend the date till when her husband regains consciousness, so they could as well sign the divorce papers at once.
Seeing her kneeling in front of him with tears in her eyes, Grandfather Fu sighed and turned to Butler Li to say, “Get the lawyer to draft a divorce for Juan and Aiguo. Once Aiguo regains consciousness, they will sign it. If you have any requests, lay them out now.”
Grandfather Fu said the last sentence as he shifted his gaze to Fu Juan.
Fu Juan smiled inwardly, but wiped her tears and looked up with an emotional gaze.
”I only want the house that belongs to both of us.”
She didn’t want to be greedy because of the punishable crimes she committed if discovered. Besides, she didn’t lack money and only felt that the house was enough for her.
”Did you hear her? Add it to the agreement and get the divorce papers as soon as possible. Call the doctor in charge of Aiguo’s case and tell him to do everything he came to make him regain consciousness at the soonest.”
Fu Juan’s emotion almost cracked. Even with her acting all pitiful, her father still wanted her to leave the house at the soonest.
Although he had agreed to what she said, he still wanted her to leave.
Butler Li nodded before leaving the study, then Grandfather Fu shifted his gaze to Fu Juan and said to her, “If I don’t do this, I don’t think you would ever leave this house. Go back.”
At this moment, Fu Juan’s heart was pounding as she thought about how her father found out about it. She has clearly hidden that agenda and tried her best not to show it, but it looks like he can not be fooled.
What else could Fu Juan do? She got to her feet and thanked him before walking away.
Grandfather Fu sighed and shifted his gaze to the papers on his desk.
He just found out that Fu Juan was looking for every way possible to live with them at the Fu house.
This was not her initial plan. She had wanted to stay there for at most, a month, but situations changed, and so did her plans.
When Fu Juan left the study, the only thing she was thinking about, was how to delay Aiguo from regaining his consciousness.
With that thought in mind, she decided to visit the hospital. She dressed up quickly and got into her car and drove off.
The first thing she did when she got to the hospital was to go and check on Aiguo, and she met a nurse changing his bag of drips.
The nurse greeted her and continued with her job.
”Any improvements?” She asked with a straight gaze.
”No Ma’am.” The nurse replied.
”Where is the doctor?”
”He should be done making the last round check for the day. You can find him at his office.”
Fu Juan glanced at her unconscious husband of hers who was breathing through the help of an oxygen mask and sighed before walking away.
The nurse did not know the meaning of her actions, and she didn’t want to know either.
30 minutes later, Fu Juan returned to the Fu house after paying a visit to the doctor.
The doctor had told her that her husband wasn’t going to regain any consciousness soon. At least, it would take a few weeks because of the serious damage caused to his internal organ and next to his heart, plus the few broken bones.
With this, Fu Juan relaxed a little. She still had up to a month more to stay in the Fu house.
Lanying who knew of her mother’s evil deeds remained quiet and watched her from the side. These days, she doesn’t even speak to her much.
The only time you can see them together is in the dining room, or when Fu Juan comes to her bedroom to find her.
Till now, Fu Juan was still unaware that a distance was beginning to grow between them.
It’s been 2 months since Xiulan’s mother was discharged from the hospital, which meant that it was time for her deal with Fu Ling to start.
After repaying the debt she owed at the restaurant by working for 2 months, she resigned and even took her workmates for a drink to celebrate her leaving.
