It took Jia Li some courage before she could answer her question, plus, FangSu had to give her a puppy eye and even added an emotional sentence.
”Sister-in-law, I may not look like it, but I haven’t gone that far with any of my boyfriends before. It’s mostly kissing that I have done.”
What FangSu was saying in essence, is the fact that she was still a virgin, and didn’t have that kind of deep connection with any man before.
This is probably the reason Jia Li decided to answer her, but first, she let the waiters serve their food and leave before she started speaking.
Jia Li had to speak to herself in her head, so she would not appear to be embarrassed by talking about matters of the heart, and having that kind of a deep conversation with her.
”You see, your brother and I love each other, and are also sexually attracted to each other. But in most relationships, it may not be like that. A man or woman may be sexually attracted to one another without love. So every relationship and person is different.”
FangSu got her point and moved over to the next question, “I have seen my brother tease you on so many occasions, does it mean that he wants to sleep with you during those times?”
Now, Jia Li was beginning to think that FangSu was not innocent, but was teasing her instead. There was no way she wouldn’t know about all these, Nevertheless, she still went on to reply to her.
”It’s not necessarily so. Sometimes, he wants to tease me, sometimes, he just wants to feel me, or make me comfort him, or even because he wants us to go deeper, it can be either of them. Most men at like that. Your brother is romantic, and it is also a good way to express his feelings for me.”
”I see,” FangSu said while nodding her head. “Then, what do you think is the reason Junjie doesn’t make a move on me?”
Jia Li picked up a glass of water to drink before replying to her, “I think you should ask him that question yourself. He may be respecting you, or waiting till you are married before going further. Whatever the reason is, you will have to find out by yourself.”
”Thank you sister-in-law, but I am not done, I need a few pointers,” FangSu said with a smile.
”I think you should meet a relationship expert for more information that your may need, it’s really awkward talking about these things, and in this kind of place.” Jia Li said as she looked around her surrounding with unease.
FangSu picked up her chopsticks and replied, “I feel very comfortable conversing with you because I see you as my elder sister. I can’t ask my friends about this, as they will know how my relationship with Junjie is. I can’t ask my mother because she will find my words offensive. I also can’t ask Meixu about this because we are not that close to have this kind of conversation. I can only trust you, so I came to you.”
”FangSu, I also didn’t know much about relationships with the opposite gender before I got married to your brother. Nobody thought me anything, and I had to learn all by myself. I was so innocent that I didn’t have a boyfriend, so your brother was, and is my everything.” Jia Li said to her.
With her mouth agape in surprise, FangSu asked with her hands over her mouth, “Are you saying that my brother took all your firsts? Wow! He is such a lucky guy!”
As she said the last sentence, her back hit her chair, and her surprised face remained fixed on Jia Li who had burst out laughing.
Jia Li found her actions funny, and couldn’t help laughing over them. She couldn’t believe that she tagged her brother lucky simply because he took all her firsts.
FangSu leaned over and said, “Sister-in-law, you were really conservative back then, and I totally get you now. Don’t worry, my brother will take full responsibility for you. I’m sure he realizes that he would be the one to lose if you leave him.”
”Yes, your brother knows my worth. Don’t worry too much about your current relationship with your finance. If your heart is not at ease, you can talk things out with him, just like you are doing with me.” Jia Li advised with a smile.
FangSu nodded and thanked her. “Thank you, sister-in-law, I will do as you’ve said, but I have one more question.”
Since their conversation has reached this point, there was no need to deny her access, so she let her ask all she wanted.
”What other question do you have left to ask?”
FangSu leaned in more closely and asked with a gentle tone, “Given her conservative you were, how did you give in to my brother in bed? I’m sure you were very shy.”
FangSu’s questions brought back memories to Jia Li. She could remember in what circumstances she consummated her marriage it Fu Hua. It was a once-in-a-lifetime situation.
”This question is hard for me to respond to. There was no time for me to be shy as things happened unexpectedly.” Jia Li said with a small smile.
”Were you two drunk?” FangSu probed.
”No, it was something more than that. FangSu, I think we have been chatting for far too long that the food has finished cooling. I am so hungry, just like the baby in my womb, so please spare us.” Jia Li replied with a small smile before picking up her chopsticks.
FangSu was smart enough to know that her brother and sister-in-law’s wedding night story was different, so she stopped asking about it and began to eat.
Even while eating, FangSu couldn’t help stealing glances at Jia Li, while wondering how adventurous their wedding night was.
