A week to her labor date, Alix made a post. She posted a picture of herself in a sultry red bikini ? underneath the pictures, she wrote…
"I didn't know motherhood could be this hard. I can't wait for this child to come out already so I can get some rest."
There were so many comments and replies to her post within an hour.
'You should have thought about the consequences of being a mother before getting pregnant, who are you complaining to?'
'I had no idea you would carry your pregnancy to this day. I thought you would have gotten rid of it for so many reasons.'
'How can she get rid of the baby she intentionally made an effort to get?'
'I'm sure this child must be a bait for something and I pity it already.'
'Somehow I wish she would not be allowed to raise her child because she would be a terrible mother.'
'Her abdomen is pointing downwards and I think she is due soon. I can't believe she still has the energy to play at the beach.'
'Wait, how can anyone go to the beach in winter in that kind of clothes? I don't want to hear that she is not feeling this cold.'
After Alix had finished posting, she was immediately wrapped with a thick blanket and given a hot tea to drink before she was driven back to her place
News of Alix's return or pregnancy had no impact on the Fu's. They already had important things to take care of other than to pay attention to unimportant people.
On Fu Hua's birthday, he had a date night with Jia Li. He not only released some photos of that day but also a video.
Jia Li had no idea he was recording her, while she ate. It was almost at the end of the video that she noticed it and her eyes widened in shock.
"Are you recording me?" She asked with wide eyes, while Fu Hua chuckled hard.
"Smile for me, Sweetheart." Fu Hua said as he brought up his phone close to her. Instead of smiling, Jia Li feigned a frown, which caused them both to chuckle hard.
"You still look beautiful anyway." Fu Hua said before stopping the record and putting his phone away.
The two went for a walk close to the sea in the evening while holding hands and chatting. Instead of spending the night out, they returned to the Fu mansion to have dinner with everyone.
Some days after Fu Hua's birthday, Alix gave birth to a baby boy after several hours of labor. During her labor, she acted out a lot of scenes.
She cursed her child for trying to kill her while she was making an effort to give it life. She cursed the doctors and the nurses for allowing her to go through pain instead of doing something about it.
She slapped her caregiver for not giving her a glass of water fast enough and she threw things around in the hospital room she was admitted to.
She even forced her caregiver to place a call to the Suarez family and when the call got through, she didn't wait to hear the voice from the end before lashing out.
Alix almost lost her child during labor because she didn't push when she was asked to and she almost didn't want to push again because of the pain.
At last, when the baby came out, he wasn't breathing properly, it will be appropriate to say that he was losing his breath.
Instead of begging the doctor and nurses to do everything she could to save her child, she said to them, "If anything happens to my child, I will make sure to close down this hospital and you will never get a job in your lives again. Then for the sacrifice of carrying this child till this point and the huge losses, I will make you all will see to it that it's settled."
If something indeed happens to the child, she won't get any shares and the Suarez family will blame her for traveling down to China to have her child, so her child must live at all costs.
The purplish-looking baby who was struggling for air was immediately given oxygen to preserve his life while his vitals were being checked.
An hour later, after Alix has been cleaned up, she felt sleepy but didn't forget to post about the birth of her baby boy and she promised to share photos soon.
In her post, she had made a joke of how she cursed everyone she could think of while in labor pain. Then she went on to thank the doctors and the nurses who helped her to deliver her child and for tolerating her.
In a real sense, Alix didn't apologize or thank the doctors that helped her and obviously, the post she made was just to show off and was not actually for them.
That day, Alix couldn't hold her child. And she didn't bother to see him in the other room he was in. She was still tired after having pushed out a human and she was too lazy to stand up.
But because of her future plans, she made sure her child was okay and his health was improving, by sending her caregiver to record a short video of her child so she could see him.
Not just that she also inquired of the doctor of her child's health. The doctor had said her child had to be under observation for the next 48 hours to ascertain that he was okay.
Alix didn't care much as long as the child was alive.
Soon, the Suarez family heard the news of their new family member and Mr. Suarez began to make plans to come down to China to see the mother and child.
Alix hated the part of him coming over but she couldn't stop it. She didn't want to see him again as she felt that the time he had in her life had expired, but she still had to put up a font.
Anyways, if Mr. Suarez came over, she would show him off to everyone that was watching.. At least, he could still be of good use.
