Fu Meixu was so pissed off after her encounter with Shi Qiao to the point that she began to wonder if she was crazy to think about missing him.
A few days later in the Suarez family, Mr. Suarez's lawyer came by.
Mr. Suarez was going to talk about his assets and his will with his lawyer and nobody in the family knew about it aside from Feng Alix who overheard his conversation with his lawyer about coming over to talk about it.
For the past few days since Alix overheard that conversation, she has been working really hard to get on her old husband's good books.
Today, the lawyer came by and he was immediately ushered into a smaller sitting room by one of the bodyguards the moment he arrived.
Alix was bothered by the tight security over there. She could see two bodyguards guarding the hallway to that sitting room where the important meeting was going on.
"What secrets plans is he hiding from us?" Feng Alix muttered to herself.
As she couldn't stand being shut outside, Alix went into the kitchen to exercise her authority.
"My husband and his lawyer are in a meeting, why haven't you sent over some snacks and drinks?" Feng Alix asked in an authoritative tone.
The chief servant said in a worried tone, "The bodyguards won't let us cross that place. They said Master doesn't need our services."
"Nonsense!" Feng Alix said angrily before continuing… "I am the mistress of this family and you will only listen to me and my husband. Right now, you need to prepare snacks and tea and get ready to send them over to them."
The servants were scared of her request. They didn't want to disrespect her, not that they were afraid of her but because she was still favored by their master. Disrespecting her would be a slap to his face and they end up getting punished or sacked and they can't let that happen.
"Ma'am, Master will punish us if we come close, who is going to take responsibility if we are punished?" The chief servant asked.
Feng Alix smiled to herself because this was not a problem for her. In fact, she has been wanting them to ask that question.
Alix feigned a deep annoyance and said to them, "What are you all afraid of? I will go with you to serve the tea and snacks, hurry up and get them ready, I will be in the dining, call me when they are ready."
After leaving out that instruction, she walked away and went to the smaller dining room to sit, while the servants got to work.
Most of the family members who had businesses were already out, it was just two or three of her step-grandchildren were around.
Today was Thursday, which was a weekday and not a weekend, so those that have jobs are out.
It was very peaceful for Feng Alix to stay at home during the weekdays when everyone have left the house. Then, she will have the right to fully control the servants and do what she wants to do without anyone interrupting her.
When the snacks and tea were ready, Feng Alix followed the servants to deliver them to her husband.
When they got to the entrance where the two bodyguards were standing, they were stopped, and Feng Alix immediately flared up.
"How dare you stop me from meeting my husband, are you out of your mind?" She asked angrily with her gazes on them.
"I'm sorry Ma'am but we can't let you or anyone go over there. Masters' instruction was that no one is allowed entry until the meeting with his lawyer is over." One of the bodyguards explained in a strong tone.
"Do I look like I'm just anyone?" Feng Alix asked angrily. She felt that she is looked down on. Well, her husband's bodyguards were always like this when they were on an instruction. They don't mind if you are a child to Mr. Suarez or a friend, they only listen to him.
The other bodyguards glanced at her and said, "I'm sorry Ma'am but we can't let you go through."
Feng Alix was pissed off. Forget about trying to eavesdrop on the conversation between her husband and his lawyer, she can't accept the fact of being shamed in front of the servants that were behind her, Never!
Since they didn't want her to go through peacefully, then she has no choice that to enter forcefully.
Feng Alix tried to walk past them, but they blocked her with their arms and so she hit them with her hands but she ended getting hurt.
"Are you not moving?!" She shouted in Chinese as she glared at them but no reply came from them.
"Fine! Since you all want to be punished today, then you will receive the punishment that you deserve!" As Feng Alix said this, she picked up an empty wine glass with her hand, before letting it fall on the floor.
The glass made a shattering sound as it fell on the tiled floor. The bodyguards didn't see this coming. Their brows furrowed in annoyance as they glanced at the shattered time glass on the floor and the smile on Alix's face.
There was a satisfactory smile sitting on Alix's face when Mr. Suarez and his lawyer came out to see what happened.
"What's going on here?!" Mr. Suarez asked angrily. The glass shattering interrupted his conversation with his lawyer. They were having a very important discussion right before they heard the noise.
Seeing that her husband looked angrily, Alix pretended to be scared and harassed by his bodyguards and quickly ran to his side to grab his arm.
"Honey, what kind of people do you allow to be your bodyguards? I brought you some snacks but they wouldn't let me in. If they wouldn't even let me in, does that show that they respect me as your wife?"
Mr. Suarez sighed before explaining to her, "Actually, I asked them not to let anyone come over because I have an important discussion with my lawyer, I didn't want any distractions."
Feng Alix already knew about it, but she added, "Did you also ask them to touch me?"
