The evening of the same day in China, YingPei and Daiyu went on a date in a famous restaurant.
Since Daiyu was still staying in a hotel with DanDan and Chang Chang and would be going back to their city the next day, YingPei went to pick her up.
After they had settled down at their reserved table, YingPei called a waiter over so they could place their order.
Going through the menu, Daiyu could not find anything to her taste on it, so she asked YingPei to pick the dishes for her.
Taking the menu from her, YingPei glanced at it with a serious facial expression before asking, Do you prefer sweet, spicy or sour dishes?"
"That will spend on the dish but I prefer spicy food. Sour dishes are last on my list." Daiyu replied. After ascertaining her preferences, YingPei went on to pick a few dishes for her.
When the waiter left to get their order, YingPei faced Daiyu with a smile and then asked a question while rubbing his palms together.
"I heard from my sister-in-law that your hometown is a little far from hers but you all went to the same college. What do you do now?"
"I am an athlete. I run, I swim and most importantly, I beat people up." Daiyu said the last part in a low tone.
YingPei leaned away and said to her with a frown, "Why do you keep talking about beating people up? No man will want you if you keep saying that."
"I was only joking, are you scared of me?" Daiyu asked with a smile.
"Why will I be scared of you?" YingPei said and looked away from her.
Daiyu relaxed comfortably on her seat and said to him, "Actually, you don't need to be scared of me. I am not thinking of beating you up. But if we engage in a fight, who do you think will win?"
"You are still thinking of fighting? Do you like beating people up that much?" YingPei asked with an ugly gaze directed at her.
Daiyu sighed. "Why are you so concerned? I already told you that I'm not thinking of beating anybody up. Just answer my question."
Seeing her expectant gaze, YingPei actually believed that she must enjoy engaging in fights. Nevertheless, he scoffed and replied to her, "I will for sure. I'm not just a pretty face, I have some good muscles hidden. I exercise daily and I am a male."
"We can't really tell by mere verbal words, why don't we engage in some activities to test our strength? I want to know who is stronger." Daiyu suggested.
YingPei's face turned uglier as he asked, "By engaging in a fight?"
'This woman must have been a warrior or a female general in her past life' He thought as he stared hard at her.
"No! We are going to do some activities like swimming, running, rock climbing and some other activities." Daiyu replied.
She felt that it would be fun engaging in those kinds of activities with YingPei to test their strength and also for fun. She had no intentions of getting into a real fight with him, it's not like she was crazy.
Which woman asks for a fight just like that from the opposite gender? It's not like she has nothing better to do.
"That sounds interesting. But I feel that I'm going to be at a disadvantage because you are an athlete and you must be well vast with a lot of activities. This might be unfair to me." YingPei said after much thought.
Her idea was great but he doesn't engage in most of the activities she mentioned. He only runs daily and hits the gym at least once in 2 weeks or a month. He was afraid that he will lose if he can't keep up with the activities.
Daiyu chuckled with a hand over her mouth before asking with a taunting gaze, "Are you scared that I will beat you? It feels so refreshing to know that you are scared of a girl."
"Who says that I'm scared of you because you are a girl? You are an athlete and I am not. It's obvious that you engage in more of these activities than me, so I wouldn't take the risk of losing to a professional in the field I don't know much about." YingPei said and threw his face away.
Just then, the waiter came over to serve their dishes.
"You are right on one thing. You called me a professional and you are right about that. For this sake, I will give you some time to be vast in some of these outdoor activities. Then the next time we meet, we can compete to see who is stronger." Daiyu said in compromise.
YingPei nodded in agreement before asking her to eat. "The food is here, so no more talks on violence. Let's eat peacefully."
"Violence can never go together with food." Daiyu said in agreement as she picked up her chopsticks and began to pick some side dishes for herself.
After eating a few spoons of food, YingPei picked up a side dish Daiyu might like and put it in her rice bowl.
"Here, try this and you might like it." He said with a smile and then paused with his eating and gazed at her expectantly. He looked like he couldn't wait for her to try the food and tell him what she thought of it.
Daiyu glanced at the weird-looking side dish in her bowl before picking it up with her chopsticks to have a better view of it. Because of the way it was prepared, it looked weird, so she didn't recognize it until she had a good look at it.
Without asking questions, she put the dish into her mouth to it. 3 seconds into chewing, she realized how delicious the side dish tasted and nodded while smiling happily.
"This is so nice, how did they make it?" Daiyu asked after swallowing the food in her mouth.
"If you like it, you can try it a few more times." YingPei said while pointing at the plate of the aids dish which was sitting in front of him.. He was happy to share.
