On their way back home, Grandfather Fu asked about Zhang Junjie as he also remembered that she appeared on the news with him.
FangSu who had been afraid to let her grandfather know about the special relationship between them developed courage and spilled everything out.
"Grandfather, Junjie, and I are dating."
Grandfather Fu glanced at her and said, "I was about to ask you again if you two were just friends. But why did he say he was your friend?."
"We were in public, and he felt it would be rude to directly say he was my boyfriend, so he had to introduce himself that way. Grandfather, what do you think about him?." FangSu asked with an expectant gaze. She really wanted to know her grandfather's opinion about Zhang Junjie.
"It's too early to ask. Check on Da Xia, is she sleeping properly?." The old man asked with a worried gaze on his sleeping great-granddaughter.
FangSu glanced at the sleeping little bun in her arms to make sure she was comfortable before replying to her grandfather's question.
When they got back home, Fu Hua was already waiting at the entrance of his house, so immediately the driver parked the car, he walked towards the car door and opened it for his old man.
Grandfather Fu said immediately Fu Hua opened the car door for him, "There is no need to greet me, I know you came for your daughter. She is sleeping, and nothing happened to her."
Fu Hua didn't feel embarrassed that his grandfather knew he was worried about his daughter. He just accepted his words and proceeded to help him out of the car, before taking the sleeping little bun from FangSu.
"What did she eat over there?." Fu Hua asked with his gaze on FangSu who just stepped out of the car.
"She ate…. one cupcake with a little vanilla frosting and half glass of fresh fruit juice," FangSu replied.
Jasmine had some food with the old man before FangSu took her out and met Zhang Junjie along the way.
Fu Hua seemed satisfied with her response and went ahead to ask if his little princess was in discomfort, and it was at this point that Grandfather Fu had to intervene.
"You should have allowed us into the house before throwing questions at us because I'm really surprised that you picked up the job of a detective."
Fu Hua had no words left to say. He slightly bowed to the old man before taking his daughter to leave.
"Grandfather, why is my brother acting that way? He clearly allowed us to take Jasmine with us, why is he throwing a fit?." FangSu asked with a frown.
"You will find out when you get married and have your own child. For now, continue working hard on your career. As for that Zhang boy, bring him home soon." Grandfather Fu replied and started walking towards the entrance of the house with Butler Lu behind him.
FangSu seemed elated and immediately ran to grab the old man's arm to ask, "Grandfather, are you in support of our relationship?."
"Until I sit with the Zhang boy before I can conclude." Grandfather Fu replied.
"Grandfather, since you are in support of me dating, you have to speak to my father, because he will surely speak against it if he finds out," FangSu said in a low tone.
"When did I say I was in support? Go and do your work!." Grandfather Fu said with a frown. FangSu was not moved by his change of tone, and instead, let his arm go and said to him…
"Grandfather, I know you will love Junjie, he has a great personality. Don't worry, I will bring him home soon." After saying this, FangSu ran into the house.
Grandfather Fu stood at a place and watched his granddaughter skip into the house excitedly, before turning to ask Butler Lu, "Do you think I was too rash by agreeing for her to date at this age?."
Butler Lu smiled and replied, "Sir, age is not a problem, young miss Su is the same age as Miss Jia Li."
What Butler Lu is saying is this, Jia Li and FangSu are of the same age, but the former was already married and had a year old daughter, so age didn't matter when it comes to allowing FangSu to date.
Grandfather Fu understood his words and sighed while walking into the house.
When Fu Hua brought his little princess to his bedroom, he gently placed her on the bed, and went into the bathroom, and returned in less than a minute with a warm towel.
Sitting beside her on the bed, he used the towel to wipe her face, arms, and legs before taking off her shoes and socks.
When Jia Li walked into the room, she saw Fu Hua covering the little girl with a small blanket.
"My baby is back?." Jia Li asked in a low tone as she made her way towards the bed with a smiling gaze.
"She is back. I'm thinking if we should move back to our place." Fu Hua said.
Jia Li looked surprised at his suggestion and asked, "Why?"
"I don't want her going to so many places, she is too young for that." Fu Hua replied.
Jia Li sat on the bed and said to him, "It's better we stay here because the rest of the family will help Jasmine not to feel our absence every day when we leave her and go to work. And it's not like she gets to leave all the time."
"I feel like locking you two up and spending a lot of time with you. I want you two all to myself." Fu Hua said with a frown.
This young man was being jealous and wanted to have his wife and his daughter all to himself.
"You are acting like you lack love, do you want some cuddling?." Jia Li asked with open arms.
"You know I wouldn't say no." Fu Hua said as he immediately dived into her embrace.. Jia Li, on the other hand, wrapped her hands around his waist and kissed his forehead.
