"You're beautiful." Fu Hua replied as he stretched his hand towards her face, but Jia Li dodged it and said, "We are in the elevator." Fu Hua chuckled and retracted his hand, and only then did Jia Li lose her guard against him.
Still carrying the bouquet of roses, Jia Li followed Fu Hua into their suite, without knowing that Fu Hua was waiting for the right time to attack.
Immediately he shut the door, Fu Hua turned and grabbed Jia Li, pulling her close to him, and in the process, the bouquet fell to the floor.
Jia Li looked like she had a little complaint, but Fu Hua said to her with a smiling gaze, "We are not in the elevator." His reply caused Jia Li to chuckle.
'Can this man act his age for a minute?'
"I love you." Fu Hua said while staring right into Jia Li's eyes. He meant every word he said. Jia Li smiled and confessed to him, "I don't think I will ever stop loving you even if I want to."
The only thing Fu Hua picked from her words, was what was going to bother him. "Why would you want to stop loving me." He asked with his gaze on her, waiting for answers.
"It's possible to offend each other, and in anger, we may do things we never wish for. Now, I'm telling you that you've bought my heart, I can't stop loving you no matter what you do to me." Jia Li said with a smile.
Her words were now satisfactory to her. He was glad to know that she loved him to that extent. Next, Fu Hua cupped her face and looked her in the eyes to say, "We can always talk things out if there is any problem or misunderstanding. I love you so much, that I can do anything just to keep you by my side."
Both of them stared into each other's eyes and saw the love they had for each other. Fu Hua didn't want to wait anymore, as he brought his lips to meet Jia Li's. He first started with a slow soft kiss, before kissing her deeper and exploring her mouth with his tongue. But suddenly, Jia Li pushed him away and looked at him with a flushed gaze.
"I got you a gift, and it has been in my bag for a day now. Now I know the reason I didn't remember to leave it in the house."
If Jia Li had remembered that she had the gift in her bag, she would have taken it out and dropped it in the house, and she would have missed the opportunity of giving it to him at the right time since he brought them to stay over at a hotel.
"You got me a gift?." Fu Hua asked with a smile. He always felt happy whenever he learns that his wife got him something. Even if it was candies, he would appreciate it. But this is the same man that asked her not to gift him, it turned out that he said another thing, and wished for the same thing.
"Yes I did, and I hope it's to your taste." Jia Li said as she pulled him into the bedroom. In the room, Jia Li found her handbag and opened it to take out a well-packaged box, before handing it over to him.
"Here, your gift." She said with a smile. Fu Hua gladly took it and started to unwrap it. Jia Li wasn't sure of what his reaction will be, so she made an excuse to return her bag to the closet, and also take off her stilettoes ?
Fu Hua only allowed her to leave his sight for a moment, as he went on to unwrap her gift with a smile.
After taking off her shoes, Jia Li tiptoed back to the bedroom to see Fu Hua trying on the wristwatch. From his side view, she was able to see his smile, so she asked with a smile as well, "Do you like it?"
Fu Hua turned to glance at her as his smile became broader. "I love it. You must have spent a little fortune to get me this."
Jia Li became more confident after he admitted that he loved her gift. She walked up to stand in front of him and said, "The price I paid doesn't matter, what matters is the smile is the smile I'm seeing on your face."
"Who thought you to say those cheesy words?." Fu Hua asked with a low chuckle. He had no idea that his wife could talk like that. Well, it was rare for his wife to speak like that, and any time she spoke like that, he did cherish it.
"What do you think, I learned from the best." Jia Li said with a smirk and turned to walk away, but Fu Hua pulled her hand and brought her to his chest.
With her back against his hard chest, Jia Li enjoyed his warm embrace as a smoke played on her lips.
"Where do you think you are going to? You gave me an expensive gift, I have to repay you." Fu Hua said as he nibbled on her earlobes.
Jia Li felt ticklish and couldn't help chuckling while trying to pry his hands off from her waist. "You don't owe me anything, the food and dance paid for it."
"What? How can you compare a gift worth more than 2 million dollars to the money spent to organize this little stuff? You must have burnt a deep hole in your pocket. And when did you prepare this?." Fu Hua asked as he kissed her neck.
He was excited that his wife loved him so much as to spend this kind of money on a gift for him. He was really moved by her actions.
"This is a little gift compared to what you've been doing for me. Did you see your initials engraved on it?." Jia Li asked.
"Of course I saw it, FH with the heart symbol. Thank you for this meaningful gift." Fu Hua said to her.. More than the price, he was happier with his initials that were engraved on the wristwatch.
