Old lady Bai was reminded that Fu Hee lost her position as the Mistress of the Fu family because of her daughter-in-law, so she quickly said a few words of apology when she saw Fu Hee standing to her feet and ready to leave.
"Old lady, I almost lost everything but I managed to be redeemed, my daughter and I. And because I know that you are innocent, I will give you a piece of advice. It will be right to get rid of those that will cost you your peace before it's too late. Never be afraid to do so." Fu Hee said to the Old lady before walking away.
The old lady of the Bai family would be lying if she said she didn't feel insulted and all of these were because of Bai Fen and Bai Jun.
Marié who finally met with Bai Jun's friends from their circle approached them boldly and introduced herself to them.
After introducing herself, she went straight to the point to ask about the video and everything they talked about at their table.
Seeing as she didn't understand Chinese and that she was also one of Bai Jun's colleagues at work, Ah Lam offered to ruin Bai Jun's image more by telling her the truth about Bai Jun's true character.
"… I would have sent the video to you but I can't because of another reason but I will let you watch it and translate the conversation." Ah Lam said to her.
Marié was totally fine with it and asked her to go on and play the video. Marié had her reason for being curious about Bai Jun's matter because she didn't want to work with someone who was two-faced. Although she didn't have a not-so likable personality, at least she was true to her expressions, unlike someone.
After watching the video, Marié thanked them and walked away.
"Why did you refuse to share the video with her?" Mingxia asked with a frown. The others who were curious about the same question, fixed their gazes on Ah Lam while waiting for her reply.
Ah Lam sighed and decided to answer to their curiosity.
"I have two major reasons. One, Bai Jun didn't share this video with us to circulate it, as she may have other plans. Well, we have to hear from her first. Secondly, I don't know who she is apart from the fact that she is Bai Jun's colleague."
What Ah Lam said made sense to them, so they stopped asking questions and left the hotel.
When Marié went back to her seat, she immediately spilled everything she news told. The rest looked shocked as they listened.
"I can't believe that Jun is that kind of person." Linda said in shock.
"She is in love with the Big Boss? Is she crazy?" Another one asked.
"Who wouldn't love someone like our Boss." One of the male newbies asked.
"At least not a married man." Linda said with a frown.
"Although I was once someone's mistress before I decided to be useful to myself but I wasn't as shameless as to go for a married man." Marié said as she picked up a glass of wine from the table to drink from it
"Now we know the kind of person we have been working with." One of them said with a scorned look.
"Guys, have you noticed that JL and Jun have never had a conversation since we all got into FJ?" One of them asked with a curious gaze.
"I noticed that but I didn't think much about it. What do you think the reason is?" One of the guys asked.
"I don't think JL should be the problem, since she is normally quiet but would always return a smile and respond to our greetings." One of them said.
"JL is a sweet girl, she is definitely not a problem." Linda said
"I don't care who is at fault, I don't like any of them. One looks so quiet that she can be an easy target for bullying, while the other one has a haughty personality." Marié said in an annoyed tone.
"Don't tell me that you expect everyone to be wild like you. Marié you need a break." Linda said as she touched her shoulder.
After the wedding reception which didn't last long because of Old Lady Bai's order, the Bai and the Yang family started to greet their guests and send them off.
Bai Fen sneaked away and pulled Bai Jun to one corner to question her. Seeing her mother, Bai Jun cried while pouring out her grievances.
"Fu Hee didn't raise a good daughter. How dare she try to ruin your image again? Bai Jun don't worry, just lay low for a while. I promise to help you get revenge at the right time." Bai Fen said while consoling her.
"Mum, I must make FangSu pay for all the embarrassment she gave to me!" Bai Jun swore with tears.
"Of course we won't let her get away with this but don't do anything now since your grandmother and father have their attention on you, also, the Fu family. You must lie low first." Bay Fen advised.
Both of them have just gotten away from trouble narrowly but it still came with a heavy price. Bai Fen had a feeling that they wouldn't escape unscathed next time if they were not careful, so she advised Bai Jun to stay low first.
"Mum, I don't want to go to the Yang family, I want to stay back." Bai Jun cried out another part of her worries.
"And why wouldn't you go back to your new family?" The first daughter-in-law asked as she walked over. She had just come over when she heard Bai Jun crying and saying that she wanted to stay back.
Bai Fen sighed in relief as her co-wife didn't hear their initial conversation.
"You don't have a daughter so you will never understand my daughter's feelings." Bai Fen said in a heavy tone while still holding onto Bai Jun who immediately stopped crying.
The first daughter-in-law sneered and said to them, "I bet if it was the person she so desired that she got married to, she wouldn't cry and want to stay back in the family."
