It has been a week since Jia Li returned home and the Fu family hasn't stopped sending her gifts and soups.
Because of Fu Hua's strictness, he drafted out a time and some days they were allowed to visit.
Today, Zimo came over to deliver some documents to Fu Hua. This was his 2nd time in this place and he still hasn't seen the lady boss and there was no way he could say he wanted to see her, right? Before leaving after his first visit, he sent his regards to the lady boss but he was sure his boss wouldn't bother to relay his messages which was true.
After reporting work matters to Fu Hua, it was time to leave as there was no more use for him. He sighed disappointedly as he was going to leave without seeing the lady boss again.
Fu Hua had no idea of his thoughts because if he knew about it, he would have probably sent him away immediately.
As Asst. Zimo turned to leave, he heard a gentle female voice that seemed to come from the entrance. Instinctively, he turned over and smiled with his gaze at the entrance.
Fu Hua didn't notice that as he equally had his gaze at the entrance. He got to his feet and strode over and Zimo followed behind him immediately.
Jia Li appeared pushing Jasmine in her stroller while Mei followed after them with a smile as she was holding onto a fancy basket. They had just come back from a stroll.
"You took time today." Fu Hua said with a smile as he came to stand before them.
Jia Li smiled and raised her face to reply, "Jasmine liked the fun of basking in the warm weather, so we stayed out for a little while."
Fu Hua glanced at the little girl in her stroller to see her kicking her feet and licking her fingers. As he leaned over, Jasmine glanced at him and slowly removed her fingers from her mouth.
Zimo who was standing at the side finally caught sight of the lady boss's looks and he was so shocked that he forgot to greet or move.
This was a jaw-dropping scene to him. He was so shocked that he forgot his manners.
You must be wondering the reason he was so shocked and that's because he knew Jia Li from somewhere.
She was the same person their company has been trying to poach for a long time and she has been the interest and focus of the media after she appeared on the news channels and newspapers after winning the award ? for the best dress during her graduation.
Her school was so prestigious that the students there were known for their incredible talents and coming first place would make her stand out and bring about attention from the media.
Zimo was still lost when Jia Li noticed him. She looked surprised to see him as well and immediately asked Fu Hua who lifted Jasmine in his arms at this time, "You have a visitor?"
"Good evening, Boss lady." As he was already noticed by Jia Li, he managed to bow and greet her respectfully in a nervous tone.
Fu Hua frowned when he glanced behind him and saw his assistant. He had no idea that he was still present.
"What are you still doing here?" Fu Hua asked in a cold tone. He was really annoyed as he felt that Zimo had invaded his privacy but he was not too bothered now that he has seen what his wife looked like and his child's face.
Zimo could detect the annoyance in his Boss's tone and immediately apologized in an audible tone.
"Don't scare my child with your loud voice. I don't need to remind you on what to say and what not to say right?" Fu Hua said with a dangerous gaze directed at him.
"Yes Boss, I will take my leave now." Zimo said with a bow and then turned to bow to Jia Li before walking away hurriedly. He didn't manage to glance at the little princess of his Boss before he left hurriedly.
"Who was that?" Jia Li asked as her face followed Zimo till he disappeared from their sight.
"What are you looking at? He is my assistant Zimo, he came over to deliver some documents to me and to talk about the fashion show." Fu Hua replied after he got her attention.
"Oh! He won't tell on us will he?" Jia Li asked worriedly since Zimo had seen her face. She was the hidden wife of the CEO of a fashion brand and her identity has been on the hot topic. She was worried that everyone will find out about her true identity and that would be a hassle.
"He can only do that when he is tired of living. Come and sit, you must be tired." Fu Hua said as he held Jasmine in one arm and pulled Jia Li's hand with the other hand to go over to sit on the couch.
Jia Li relaxed as she didn't have to worry about her identity being uncovered. Before she didn't like the idea of her identity being hidden although she wasn't expecting much at that time since her marriage with Fu Hua was forced. But now she had plans for herself, she didn't want her identity as Fu Hua's wife to be uncovered as she wanted to be qualified to stand beside him.
The popularity and the little achievement she has made so far were not enough for it, so she had to work hard till she was at a point where she wouldn't have to worry if she was qualified to be his wife or not.
Outside the house, Zimo finally let out the breath he has been holding. He was still shocked by the identity of his Boss's wife. He couldn't believe what he has just seen.
The person that has been giving their Chief Designer worries because she failed to poach her was their Boss's wife.
Zimo was almost going crazy the more he thought deeply about these matters. He felt that the secret he just learned might end up killing him.
As he got into his car and drove away, he began to think about Fu Hua's intentions of keeping this huge secret from them.
At this point, Zimo felt that his kidnapping value had increased immensely after getting a hold of this sort-after news.
Anyone that would kidnap him for answers relating to the identity of his Boss's wife, will definitely win the jackpot.
