A Thousand Years At A Glance Photo Studio.
An Xiaxia cleared her throat and poked Sheng Yize, who was carrying both babies without difficulty. “What’s wrong?”
Sheng Yize’s face looked grim. “Why him?”
He gestured with his chin in the condescending manner he usually assumed.
On the other side stood a good-looking man, who had grown stout with age. His eyes were two crescent moons when he smiled and that charmingly naive look reminded one of Winnie the Pooh.
He was an old acquaintance.
It was the president of the student union from back then, who had been one of An Xiaxia’s pursuers, Xiao Yan.
An Xiaxia said awkwardly, “Momo recommended this place. He’s a great photographer and he’s very experienced in baby photos.”
“Hoho, don’t you worry. I’ll make sure everything is perfect. Now, go get Cola and Pepsi ready,” said Xiao Yan with a smile.
The staff then came up to take Cola and Pepsi away. Sheng Yize behaved like such a tsundere that he wouldn’t let go of the babies no matter what. He only gave them away reluctantly with a snort when An Xiaxia tugged his sleeve.
“Mr. Xiao, how have you been?” Sheng Yize greeted him with an insincere smile.
“Very well, hoho.” Xiao Yan scratched his head, confused by the dirty look Sheng Yize was throwing at him…
Little did he know that it was Tsundere Sheng’s natural reaction when he met a potential rival in love.
“Alright, alright. Time for the photoshoot. We’ll catch up later.” An Xiaxia dragged Sheng Yize away.
After feeding the two babies milk, the staff took Cola and Pepsi away and started taking photos.
The lighting was kept rather soft and the two babies sat in a basket padded with flannel blankets without crying or screaming. They would laugh as soon as someone tried to amuse them and the sound of Xiao Yan’s camera shutter continued clicking without stopping.
After the first set of photos were done, Xiao Yan beckoned An Xiaxia over to have a look at them.
He was really an expert in this and was great at capturing the moment. Cola and Pepsi were pretty and photogenic and An Xiaxia was over the moon with how the photos turned out.
“They’re so adorable… The raw images alone are already this good…” She was amazed.
“How about I send you a few first so that you can post them on your social media accounts?” Xiao Yan suggested.
“Great!” An Xiaxia nodded excitedly.
The two then began to look through the photos, their heads touching. Standing in the corner, Sheng Yize’s face was as dark as a storm. His resentment almost materialized above his head to grow into a poisonous mushroom.
“Hm… they’re all so good. I don’t know which ones to choose…”
“These, then…”
Xiao Yan reached out and picked three photos for An Xiaxia on her phone. Before he could pick more, An Xiaxia was hauled away.
Sheng Yize gave her phone a glance and said, “Pick something else.”
An Xiaxia mumbled, “Why? These three are really good.”
“They’re my babies and I’ll pick the photos myself!” Sheng Yize snorted.
An Xiaxia couldn’t help but smack her forehead. Great, Lord Jealousy of East Asia was back!
Xiao Yan smiled and didn’t think much of this reaction. He only sped up his work.
The photoshoot went smoothly, taking only a little over forty minutes. The family of four then took a few group photos and they were done.
“I’ll edit the pictures as soon as possible and send them to your email address,” Xiao Yan said mildly to An Xiaxia. Sheng Yize glared at him. “Send them to me!”
“Um… sure,” Xiao Yan said awkwardly.
“If that’s all, we’re leaving now.” Sheng Yize held both babies with one arm and took An Xiaxia’s hand with the other, then quickly walked out of the studio.
After putting the babies in their seats, Sheng Yize pursed his thin lips, locked the doors from the inside, and turned his sharp gaze on An Xiaxia.
