An Xiaxia felt dizzy. She was dumbfounded and didn’t know what was happening.
She didn’t even know what question to ask, but could only freeze on the spot and stare at Sheng Yize with puzzled eyes.
Sheng Yize chuckled quietly, which sounded both self-mocking as well as derisive of An Xiaxia’s clumsiness.
“Do you like Qi Yanxi?”
An Xiaxia shook her head repeatedly.
“Good.” Sheng Yize looked away. “You can ask whatever you want to ask now. If you don’t know what to ask, you can always leave it until later…”
An Xiaxia jabbed her fingers together and suddenly thumped her head against the car window.
Thump — her little head hit the glass, making a muffled sound.
When Sheng Yize realized what she was doing, it was already too late to stop her. He could only watch her speechlessly as she sat back with a hand over her head and said in a pitiful tone, “So, it wasn’t a dream… ouch, that hurt!”
“You little dumbo…” Sheng Yize remarked scornfully. However, he was already starting to caress her little head despite himself. “Where did you get hurt? Let me rub it away.”
An Xiaxia shook off his hand nervously as if it had electrocuted her.
“Since it wasn’t a dream… then you were taking advantage of me! Sheng Yize, how could you do that to me! I… I’m going to…” She stammered and didn’t know how to finish the sentence. Sheng Yize, on the other hand, was as calm as ever. “My body is yours to take. Or, I can take care of you. Which one do you want?”
However dumb An Xiaxia might be, by now she had grasped the meaning of his unspoken words!
“You– you… you’re not saying you like me, are you?” An Xiaxia was petrified.
Sheng Yize smiled. “So, you’re not too dumb after all.”
Thump —
An Xiaxia hit her head on the window again and cried out, “It really wasn’t a dream!”
Sheng Yize was speechless.

By the time they arrived at the An family home, An Xiaxia still felt like she was in the clouds as she walked along in a half-conscious state.
An Yibei was waiting by the front door. Seeing her come in, he marched up to her and twirled her around. “Xiaxia, are you alright? Did you get hurt? Where did you go? And why are you with this little scoundrel!”
An Xiaxia was even more dizzy now and pleaded, “Waa, Brother, let go of me! It was my classmate’s prank and he took me to his house by force. Sheng Yize got me out!”
Only then did An Yibei cut her loose. He then darted a look at Sheng Yize and snorted. “Go to bed now. I’ll have a word with him.”
“Oh…” An Xiaxia went back in obediently. Her head was spinning and she needed a good rest!
Because Papa An was away, the coffee shop had been closed for the past two days. An Yibei make a cup of coffee for Sheng Yize and got right to the point. “Listen, I know you’re a national idol and the heir to the Sheng family, but to me, you’re no different from any random guy on the street. Therefore, keep your hands off my little sister. I cannot bring myself to even lay a finger on her for some stupid puppy love, but I won’t hesitate to break the legs of the brat drooling over her.”
The cold look on his face proved that he was a man of his word.
Sheng Yize listened to this quietly and replied with a “hm.”
“Stay away from her until you’re sure of your feelings. And, she’s young and not the smartest girl in the world. She might be gullible, but let me remind you: play tricks on her and there will be uncontrollable consequences.” An Yibei finished his coffee with a sardonic grin and rose to his feet. “Behave yourself.”
Sheng Yize suddenly asked quietly, “You must like Xiaxia very much, don’t you?”
An Yibei halted.
“She’s my little sister. Of course I like her and care about her.”
“And you find my fondness for Xiaxia insincere?”
