Opening his eyes, Virus looked around the room with a bit of perplexity as he thought, ‘Damn… I didn’t assume creating the Energy Pathways was such a slow process… it took me more than sixteen months… sigh, I’ve been sleeping for almost a year and a half… I bet I missed a lot of interesting stuff!’
Against his initial expectations, creating a network of interconnected Energy Pathways as overarching as his, which literally covered his entire figure completely, was much more complicated and time-consuming than he had assumed.
Even with the [Origin Passage Creation Art] and its miraculous effects, he had to be extremely careful in every single centimeter of Energy Pathway he was creating. Thus, in the end, completing each one of the eighteen Energy Pathways had taken him around a month or so.
Anyway, noticing the needles stuck into his veins and the other tools which were attached to various parts of his body, he pulled them out one by one. A minute later, standing up, he left the room.
He didn’t feel any kind of weakness either as he was feeling as energetic and healthy as before. This was perhaps due to his body which had gone through the Corporeal Tempering Stage in a perfect sense.

The second he exited the room, however, much to his surprise, the noise of glass breaking apart reached his ears, attracting his attention to itself. Thus, looking at the source of the sound, Virus caught a glimpse of a stupefied golden beauty who had dropped the bowl of water she was bringing in order to clean his body.
After what felt like forever, as she was done staring at his face in a dumbstruck manner, covering her face with a single hand, she dashed in his direction before throwing herself into his embrace with all her might.
“Master!!!” She screamed at the same time.
“Haha…” Catching her pretty easily, with her petite body still within his arms, he revolved around once due to the impact before putting her back on the ground with a burst of laughter.
“You’re finally awake!” She said looking up toward his face, staring into his smiling crescent eyes while clear excitement and anticipation were emitting off from her entire being.
“Yes, of course… with my Lil Belle taking such good care of me… how can I not wake up?” He replied looking downwardly while wearing an impressed smile.
Continuously checking every part of his body with her attentive yet somewhat sad gaze, she questioned anxiously, “Why did you sleep for so long, master? I was so worried… Are you okay now?”
Easily seeing through her perturbed and disturbed expression, while patting her head gently, he phrased, “Don’t worry… I’m fine now. It’s just that the process took longer than I had initially expected.”
Not stopping there, he queried further, “So, what happened while I was sleeping?”
Without any need to deliberate on the question whatsoever, the golden beauty directly started talking, “So much happened in the past year, master… simply too much!”
“Oh… is that so? Then how about this, you go brew some of your irresistible tea from the Water of Life and then slowly explain everything while master enjoys drinking that!” Showing a brilliant smile in return, Virus proclaimed.
“Sure! Let me say this, master… I’ve practiced making tea utilizing the Water of Life over the past year a lot, so I was also looking forward to brewing some for you!” She responded jovially.
“Oh, is that so… that makes me want it even more then! Go!”

While she was in the kitchen preparing the tea, the golden beauty couldn’t help but ponder, ‘Thank god master’s not super gloomy anymore… that side of master’s honestly scary…’ Remembering how dark Virus was behaving before going into his deep state of slumber, the golden beauty indeed didn’t like that sight because seeing him in that condition simply broke her heart. So, now that he was cheerful and merry just like in the past, she was feeling extremely happy about it.

“Here, master… enjoy!” Putting the tea in front of him in an elegant manner, the golden beauty uttered.
“Thanks, Lil Belle… now, tell about everything…” He inquired casually. He still hadn’t connected to the world network, so he indeed wasn’t aware of anything that had taken place over the past year.
“Hmm… alright.” Putting on a brief contemplative face, she commenced the elaboration, “One thing that’s worth mentioning is the event that took place a few months ago. You see, the duration of the temporary cure of the Mutated HIV, [Ai Virus 001: The Savior], was about to end… and in case it did, the Mutated HIV would’ve come out of its dormant state and the process of extinction would’ve begun once more. But as I’m sure master already expects it, the CEO ugly started selling the yearly cure which he had already prepared for the world again.”
“However, he also lowered the prices by thirty percent… so they were sold at a 30 percent discount. The world obviously had the preconception we were selling it at 30 percent loss and that made the image of our corporation shot up to new heights as it broke a new record. Hehe… to be honest, saying mankind thinks of our corporation as a saint company wouldn’t be an overstatement anymore…” Giggling amusedly at the end of her long speech, the golden beauty concluded.
“Haha… good, as expected of the CEO ugly, he did a good job looking at the bigger picture rather than temporary profits. But still, even with a 30 percent discount, the income from that section alone should’ve been around 100,000,000,000 USD, so that’s still more than enough.” Said Virus in return. In truth, due to spending most of their money on their new Mining Branch, the Virus Industries’ liquid assets were almost depleted. But this once again brought them out of the possible difficulties they may face later on as their pockets were repleshined and filled up to the brim at least for the moment.
Displaying an entertained smile, he probed further, “What else?”
