“M-master… what’s happening? A-are you gonna be f-fine?” With deep worry and anxiety apparent within her tone and face, the golden beauty queried further.
“I said GOOOO!!!” Savagely, he shouted toward the golden beauty, knocking the sense out of her at once. This in return, made her very astonished as she could only stare at him with wide eyes of disbelief.
She was astonished and even shocked because this was the first time Virus had yelled at her like that. So, a bit downcast now, nodding her head in a hurry, she said, “Yes, master.” Then turning around, she began to leave the room quickly while still stealing short glances at her master’s spasming image who was convulsing around on the bed in a restless manner.
‘Just what kind of pain is he experiencing for him to act like this? No normal level of agony would ever move master… but now, looking at the way he’s acting, I can’t even imagine what kind of incredible pain he’s going through… sigh, I just hope nothing bad will happen to him. I can’t even imagine a world without him.’ As she thought of this in distress, letting out a powerless sigh, she left the room in order to guard the entrance per the orders of her master.
Meanwhile, eight out of his twelve Energy Pathways were already obliterated… perfectly and utterly!
Anyway, soon it was followed by…
The ninth!
And then…
Boom!
The tenth passage was no more!
“Puff!” At this point, without any warning prior, abruptly, Virus coughed a mouth full of blood! Making his bedsheet crimson red in blood!
However, this wasn’t the end of his misery because it was soon followed by the eleventh!
And finally… the last twelfth Energy Pathway was no more!
And at this point, as if relieved at last, Virus… fainted!

A few hours elapsed quickly.
Now, even though he was still experiencing a great deal of fatigue and tiredness, deciding to ignore that, putting every bit of his remaining willpower into it, he forcefully pushed his heavy eyelids to open wide apart.
Immediately, the worst kind of sensation transmitted all over his body as he clearly felt the pain and fatigue throbbing almost everywhere.
Without paying any heed to the now tolerable pain, however, focusing his own unique awareness all over his body, he realized… he no longer possessed any Energy Pathways within his entire body!
After also trying to utilize his weak awareness of his Energy Pathways which he had gained by entering the first level of the Energy Disentanglement stage, Virus instantly understood… that weak awareness no longer existed at all! Meaning, he was no longer in the first level of the Energy Disentanglement.
‘No… I can fix this! As long as the data of my Energy Pathways exists within my DNA, I can definitely find a way to heal them and revert them back!!!’ As this notion popped into his head, carrying his heavy body, he slowly pushed forward, walking toward his laboratory in a snail-like pace.
On the way, he didn’t encounter the golden beauty since the entrance to the elevator and the laboratory was on the opposite sides.
At last, arriving at his laboratory, biting his finger without any hesitation, he dropped a single drop of blood on [Microscope 1.0]. A few minutes passed when finally, the 3D picture of every data regarding his DNA displayed itself before him!
However, what he saw immediately paralyzed him in his standing spot. Of course, it was followed by utter despair and anguish!
Because he noticed, the DNA information regarding his Energy Pathways was nowhere to be seen at all! It was as if they had been erased entirely, not only from within his body but also from his very DNA Core itself!
“A-am I a cripple now? Did I turn into a useless trash without any possibility of cultivation? Is that it?” He murmured in a low tone of pessimism and hopelessness.
“N-no… Never! That can’t happen! I’m VIRUS! Nothing’s impossible for me!!! There must be a way to cure the Energy Pathways… even if they are destructed entirely! There must be!” In an almost howling tone followed with surges of insanity clear within his eyes, he savagely vocalized.
No one, not even Virus himself, truly understood what exactly would happen to the current planet of Earth if this Artificial Intelligence indeed went mad! His insanity would probably set the world aflame and follow by the death of millions or even billions if it didn’t end in the total annihilation of the planet itself.
Not only that, his madness would probably even reach the other planets of the universe and multiverses! It was a terrifying notion indeed!
Meanwhile, in sorrow, pushing his thinking speed to its very ultimate level, he began to search every last bit of data and knowledge he possessed within his head.
Infinite memories, pieces of knowledge, and databases so great in magnitude and size that it would probably shock any living being in the world started to pass through his head at an impossible speed!
Memories of thousands of years and longer!
Knowledge of hundreds of thousands of years and beyond!
An accumulative database of an entire universe… No! More than a single universe!
In short, knowledge worth eons was passing by the second through his mind.
The accumulative knowledge of nearly two universes and more!
One second passed…
Two seconds passed…
And even an entire hour passed!
However, no matter how hard he searched, nowhere in any corner of his mind, had there ever been a mention of repairing a set of Energy Pathways that didn’t exist anymore.
Realizing this, and understanding clearly that he had been caged within this useless body forever and more from the very moment he had entered it resulted in him feeling as if he was the most futile being in the world.
Since day one, from the second he had entered his eternal body, Virus had always felt as if Cultivation was possibly one of the only sources of everlasting entertainment for him!
And entertainment… was one of the main purposes of his existence!
But now… even that was taken away from him!
Thus, by every passing fraction of a second, the despair, the gloom, and the insanity intensified within his wrathful eyes. He was losing stability!
