Green pillars of light suddenly began to shoot down from the sky above.
This sudden occurrence took the MBO officers by surprise as they stared at the directions these massive green pillars of light descended upon.
“What are those?”
This question rang in the mind of everyone.
In the next few seconds, screams began to ring out in different corners of Aribia city.
Within a household in the upper district, the family members spotted roots growing out of their bodies.
Their eyes widened in horror as these roots grew out aggressively, borrowing out of different parts of their skins and even out of their mouths as well.
Pop! Pop! Pop!
The sounds of organs and body parts blasting to pieces rang out across different parts of Aribia city as a similar scene played out there as well.
-“Something’s happening,” Angy voiced through the comms.
-“I can see roots growing out of people’s body,” Elevora stated as well.
-“The civilians are affected,” Aildris stated.
-“Guys… it’s bad here… everyone is affected,” E.E announced with a tone of horror.
“Could it be…” Gustav muttered.
-“Could it be what?” Aildris questioned.
“The light affects everyone that has consumed the blood dampening seed… it is taking effect right now and I think the result will be…” Gustav began disclosing.
-“The result will be?” Everyone was waiting for Gustav’s answer.
“The amplification of bloodline dampening…” Everyone eyes widened as Gustav revealed this.
“E.E get every single Slum Dweller out of there right now! So long as they’re not in range of the light, they shouldn’t be affected,” Gustav instructed.
E.E immediately got to work on creating a massive vortex to teleport the slum dwellers in front of him away.
Every single Slum Dweller currently in front of him had roots growing out of their bodies so it was safe to say they were all truly Slum dwellers.
None of the Genxodus members would have consumed the seeds upon knowing this is how they would end up.
Fhiiiiiiwwwhhhiii~
A massive vortex which was as wide as an entire street was finally conjured.
E.E swept the vortex forward and it proceededd to consume all ten thousand slum dwellers in front of him in nearly an instant.
They were all quickly teleported away.
[Combination Has Been Activated]
Gustav speed trippled as he sped across the slums with intensity and arrived back in the same area as E.E in a couple of moments.

He threw all the slum dwellers in his grasp towards the massive vortex E.E had just conjuried, which was still sweeping forward.
Angy arrived at the same moment too with a couple of people who had roots growing out of their bodies.
She quickly placed them on the same path with the vortex before storming off.
-“That’s everyone,” Angy reported.
“Good, now we can focus on other things,” Gustav replied through the comms.
The screams all across the city had increased as the roots phasing out of the bodies of the civilians grew larger and caused some of the bodies to explode.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
The roots that had grown out massively, shot out from windows and some broke through the walls.
The ones with closer proximity began to actively seek each other out and connect to themseleves.
“We have to take care of this,” Gustav voiced out to E.E.
“What should we do?” E.E questioned.
Gustav looked up at the sky where the pillars of light were shooting from.
[God Eyes Has Been Activated]
Gustav’s sight phased through the thick layers of clouds and past the stratosphere.
His sight soon arrived at space and he spotted the satellites responsible for the current occurrence.
“There are four of them… Get rid of them,” Gustav instructed E.E.
“Can you do that?” He questioned.
“Sure…” E.E nodded before raising both his arms.
“Good, I and Angy will do what we can from down here,” Gustav responded before gesturing at Angy.
Swwwooosshhh~
Both of them stormed off in the next instant, blasting dangerous winds across the slums as they left afterimages in their wake.
E.E’s eyes turned bloodshot as the violet glow that coated his finger tips turned to red.
Deep in space, a collapsing red vortex appeared beside a satellite which was shooting down green beams towards the earth.
The vortex was not even one quarter the satellite but the instant it appeared to devour and suck everything in its vicinity towards it.
A barrier appeared around the satellite as a security measure but this still wasn’t enough to stop the collapsing vortex.
It sucked the barrier along with the satellite into it in a couple of seconds and closed up.
It reappeared once more beside another one in a few momemts.
-“We are calling for space check to take care of the issue,” Gustav could hear one of the commanders voice through the comms.
“There will be no need for that, commander. My subordinate is taking care of it,” Gustav voiced through the comms.
-“Which squad leader is this?” Commander Darmark questioned from the other side.
“Gustav Crimson,” Gustav replied.
“Oh? What do you mean by taking care of it?” Just as commander Darmark questioned some beams of light from the sky began to thin out.
-“They are disappearing,” One of the other squad leaders reported.
“There’s your answer,” Gustav stated.
“I and another one of my surbodinates is headed for the upper district, I hope we’re permitted,” Gustav added.
-“That is beyond your designated area officer Crimson,” Commander Colt voiced out.
“The situation is about to be dire… switching off comms to focus on the mission at hand,”
-“Officer Crimson! Officer Crimson don’t you…”
Gustav totally ignored all of Commander Colt yells as he arrived before one of the houses in the upper district.
Bang! Bang!
Massive roots shot through the walls and headed for Angy and Gustav.
[Atomic Disintegration Has Been Activated]
Swing~ Swing~
pAnD a(-)n0ve1.com Gustav swung his palm forward and the roots were immediately cleaved into multiple pieces.
It looked like he only moved his arm once but in actuality, he swung a couple of times. He was just so quick, it looked like it was once.
“Go look for the ones that haven’t fully turned, I’ll take care of this,” Gustav leapt through the hole created on the wall after giving Angy the instruction.
Upon getting into the house, the sight that greeted Gustav wasn’t a pretty one.
“Ghaarrkkk~ P-lease K… ki-ll me…”
The person who said this, did so with great difficulty. She was in a kneeling position, with giant roots protruding from his back, chest, thighs arms and even both her eyes.
She had was bleeding profusely and already lost a part of his skull yet she was still alive.
Body parts with roots protruding from them, were scattered across the floor with blood splattered on the walls. It would seem, these were the body parts of her family members.
The massive roots were everywhere and they began headed for him, upon sensing his arrival.
Swwhii~ Swhiii~
Multiple of them shot forward at him from every direction.
Gustav reached out and grabbed the first one that arrived before him.
“Intertwining Disintegration…” Gustav mummured as his palm glowed a milky color.
In the next instant, the glow on his palm spread to the vine he made contact with and then spread to the other vines shooting towards him.

The glow grew intensity, becoming blindingly bright and in the next moment, they all disintegrated into light particles.
“Rest in peace,” Gustav mumbled.
As the area returned to its usual look, all of the vines along with the body parts and even the half dead girl, were all gone.
Gustav sped out of the house and moved towards the next one where he could sense a similar situation.
(“There are at least a hundred thousand more experiencing the same issue… Do you intend to do this everywhere?”) The system questioned internally.
‘No… however, I will try to reduce the effect as much as I can,’ Gustav replied.
At the same moment, Angy was getting chased by vines that kept shooting out of different houses.
It seemed like there were barely anyone left who had consumed the bloodline dampening seedd and wasn’t yet completely affected.

-“They have gotten rid of the sattelite,”
Within an underground, dimly lit space, a person reported.
-“It doesn’t matter… the bloodline dampening seeds will take effect in a few,”
“Those idiots think they have prevented something but they have no idea, it is about to get worse,” The Genxodus leader stated with delight.
-“When are we leaving here?”
“We have to wait till the whole commotion is over but we must make sure the MBO suffers a great loss from this,”

Gustav who kept moving from house to house and getting rid of every single living creature within suddenly sensed something again.

His feet slid across the ground as he suddenly paused.
-“Guys…” Just as he voiced out through the comms, houses in the upper district began to glow up.
