Qin Man’s mind buzzed.
She tried to look for more bystanders, but they were all saying the same thing.
The orchestra was ranked B.
However, Yao Ran was declared as unqualified by the judges.
As soon as Qin Man heard this, she really felt like she wanted to explode. Her fingernails dug so deep into her own palms that she broke through her skin.
Even Master Zhang was at a loss for words.
He had never encountered this in more than ten years.
How could such a thing have happened to his disciple?
“What happened? Was what they’ve said true?”
Master Zhang quickly walked over to Yao Ran’s side, anxious.
The young woman in question, however, was stark pale. Even she didn’t know what to say as slow tears fell down her cheeks.
“I’m sorry,” she stuttered, clenching her fists. “I didn’t mean to…I just…”
It was as if she had already lost the strength to speak.
Her entire persona was completely destroyed.
Under everyone’s strange gazes, she stomped over to the car. She didn’t appear to be able to accept this matter. Yao Ran hesitantly followed after her, with Yao Yuanand Master Zhang right behind her.
However, as soon as they entered the car, Qin Man immediately turned around at her daughter.
Slap!
The crisp sound echoed throughout the car.
A red palm print appeared on Yao Ran’s face and she fell to the side. The strength of her mother was far too much for her, and she could feel her legs quaking. “Tell me everything!”

“Impossible! Yao Tang is simply a participant in the assessment. How could she have the qualifications to judge you?”
When Yao Ran told the entire story, Qin Man’s face was that of complete disbelief.
She never thought that the person she had looked down on would have so much power behind the scenes.
This was an assessment hosted by the Music Association. This wasn’t child’s play. This wasn’t school.
Master Zhang’s eyes flashed with contemplation. He rubbed his chin. While he appeared to be surprised by Yao Ran’s explanation, he couldn’t help but think of Yao Tang.
Actually, with Yao Tang being the President’s disciple, she didn’t even have to participate in the assessment. All she needed to do was to pass her application papers.
He also knew what had happened with the Glory Orchestra in the past few days.
If Yao Tang felt that she couldn’t pass the assessment, then she would’ve introduced herself as President Tan’s disciple rather than participate as a simple orchestra member.
However…
If President Tan had also been at the assessment venue, it would be normal for him to come over and see his student.
Would President Tan use his position to ensure that Ranranwould fail her exam?
Thinking of this possibility, he scowled.

Yet, even if he knew the truth, there was nothing else he could do.
But he wasn’t going to let him off that easily.
He wanted to make sure that President Tan knew that Yao Ranwas a brilliant student. He clenched his fists. He’d talk to him!
“She’s really a bully!”
Master Zhang’s face was livid. “Let’s go, I’ll bring you to justice. Even if Yao Tang is President Tan’s student, he still shouldn’t use his position to bully you like this,” he snapped. “I’ll talk to him.”
Hearing this, Qin Man’s expression changed.
Just now, she had been so angry at Yao Ran for not telling her the full truth.
However, as she thought about it, she realized that there was something else at play here. All along, there must’ve been another person who was pulling the strings.
She must’ve been judged unfairly!
Upon hearing Master Zhang’s words, she scowled.
There was someone targeting her!
And that person had a certain status in the association as well.
“Who is this President Tan? Ran Ran, did you offend him?”
How could Yao Ran have offended such a person?
“President Tan is Yao Tang’s teacher.” Master Zhang frowned. “He is the president of City A’s Music Association, and is one of the top four-star music teachers.”
Hearing this, Yao Yuan looked over at Master Zhang.
His eyes were bright with joy. Who would’ve thought that his daughter’s teacher would be so distinguished?
Master Zhang was only a two-star master, but he was already quite well-respected in the field. Who would’ve thought that Yao Tang could do even better by having a four-star master as her teacher?
As his thoughts flashed back to Yao Tang’s perfect score in the Math Olympiad, he couldn’t help but feel regret.
