Yao Tang leaned against the wall. Within a few minutes, Yan Yuand the others had also made their way up the stairs.
“How do you feel?”
Yan Yu smiled. “Thanks to your pills, we were able to recover fully.” He bowed his head. “Thank you. I really am grateful for your help.”
If it weren’t for her, they probably wouldn’t have been able to recover for the rest of their lives.
“You’re really the most amazing person I’ve ever met,” Lu Ming praised. “You’re the reason why I have to strive even harder!”
“That’s right! You even limited our intake of the medicine, controlling our dependency on it. You’ve gone through so much trouble for us,” the other chimed in. “Because of you, we were encouraged to work hard!”
Upon hearing the words “medicine”, Yao Tang realized that she had missed out on giving them their medication for the last couple of days.
Initially, she had planned to use their recovery as a general ruler as to whether she should increase or decrease the dosage.
But she had forgotten about this matter.
Only now did she remember that the medicine she had given was already used up four to five days ago, depending on their intake.
Did they think she had limited their dosage?
She rubbed her nose awkwardly. However, just as she was about to speak, she heard someone say, “That’s for use! Yao Tang’s incomparable to all the doctors we’ve met!”
The others nodded heavily.
“I could give you some more medicine,” she slowly said.
But they shook their heads. “There’s no need. We already feel much better after taking the previous batch. We don’t need it anymore.”
“Although the medicine was good, I didn’t really like its side effects, you know? Now that I’ve stopped, I’m more encouraged to work even harder.”
“Yeah, don’t worry about us! We’ll work even harder. We won’t waste your efforts!” one of them chimed in. “After today, we’ll still continue to make you proud.”
Yao Tang nodded guiltily.
Under their continuous praise and wide eyes, Yao Tang slowly retreated back to her classroom, unsure what to say. However, the awkwardness in her heart eased up a little.
As soon as the Chinese exam officially ended, everyone immediately exploded into a series of murmurs and secrets.
Yao Tang was already a special case in itself. They didn’t need to talk about her.
What they couldn’t wrap their head around was that Yan Yu and the others had finished the exam within an hour—when they were already late! They just handed their papers and left the classroom.
The person who had originally shared the same examination room as Yan Yu thought that he was just a special case.

Were they crazy?
Just then, they saw that Lu Ming had posted something on his page.
“We’ve already given you half an hour headstart on each examination. Don’t say that we’re being unfair now.”
Immediately, everyone snorted in disbelief. It was like a dynamite have been thrown right in the center of the corridor, and they were all in total chaos.
They scowled.
So the reason they were half an hour late was that they had given them a headstart?
After seeing the post, the students of No. 1 High School rolled their eyes exasperatedly. Let’s see if these people would be half an hour late for every single subject.
Therefore, when the second test had begun, they turned to look at them.
Sure enough, Yan Yu didn’t even flip through the examination paper. He simply placed his pen on top of the paper and closed his eyes, as if he was sleeping.
The scene surprised the students. Even the invigilator had to glance a second time.
He originally wanted to head over and remind them that they were taking an exam, but after thinking about it, he decided against it. Besides, this behavior was normal for students of Class 20. Even if he reminded them, it would be of no use.
