Yao Ran was also very nervous. She looked nervously at the large screen before her as a bad feeling stirred in her stomach. bit her lips.
Although she was already expecting a certain result, she was still expecting that things would change for them. She took a deep breath.
A part of her had hoped that the judges would like their performance and give them the high marks that they deserved.
Unfortunately, the big “B” flashed across her screen. While she breathed a sigh of relief, she couldn’t help but feel resentful. She dug her fingernails into her palms.
They had certain rules to abide to in the Music Association .
In the first test, one had to be given a Grade D.
In the second test, one had to be given a Grade B.
In the third test, one had to reach a Grade A to pass.
This was Yao Ran’s first test, so she passed quite easily. However, this wasn’t the result she had initially wanted.
This was the time she had thought that she could finally beat Yao Tang.
She wanted to destroy her. However, it seemed that she still hadn’t succeeded. What score had they gotten?
Curious, she glanced over at the Glory Orchestra.
SS! That was the highest level!
Seeing this score, Yao Ran felt indescribable jealousy seeping into her heart. She clenched her fists.
How could this be?
Why did it have to be her?
Why was she President Tan’s disciple?
Why did she become the concertmaster of the Glory Orchestra?
It wasn’t fair!
It was just so unfair!
Suddenly, Yao Ran’s eyes lit up as she glanced over at the concertmaster of the Shanna Orchestra. She bowed her head. “Captain Wu, I’m so sorry.”
“If my cousin wasn’t President Tan’s disciple, our orchestra wouldn’t have been treated so unfairly. Because of her…I apologize on behalf of my cousin.”
After listening to her comments, Wu Hai’s face filled with joy.
Soon, he raised his hand, attracting the judges’ attention.
“Judges, I have a question!”
They all turned to him. He continued, “The leader of the Glory Orchestra appears to be an underaged girl. How could she lead an orchestra to perform such a magnificent piece?”
Just then, he pursed his lips. “Or is it because she hadn’t rehearsed the piece at all? Perhaps someone had taken responsibility for her.”
“If someone really did this for her, then could they be disqualified?”
The entire auditorium was in an uproar.
The concertmasters of all the other orchestras scowled. They had all gone onto the stage to guide every single one of their members. They had never let anyone else do it for them.
No one would have thought of having another person do the piece for them.
However, as soon as they thought of the Glory Orchestra’s grand performance and Yao Tang’s young self, they couldn’t help but think that this theory of his was plausible.
They were no other explanations.
They knew that the Glory Orchestra had played so much better than before.
Without a backer, it would be impossible.
No one would believe that the person responsible was Yao Tang.
When everyone thought of this, their eyes colored with hatred and disappointment. Finding someone else to train them was cheating, right?
Wasn’t that right?
Having someone to train them like this…
However, if the captain had someone to help him train during the private rehearsals, then this would result in an unfair grade.
They had to be disqualified!
They were not even worthy to be called the top performers of this assessment.
Was Yao Tang really this talented?
Otherwise, why would they be this good?
Who was the person behind her? To be able to train all of them…they couldn’t help but wonder.
The crowd whispered amongst themselves as they glanced over at the judges.
If they cheated like this, would they be able to get off?
