The richest man in Country K was Searle. He controlled most of the corporations in the country, becoming its sole economic lifeline. While he may not have any political power, everyone always seemed to listen to him. That was how strong of an influence she had in the country.
Could it really be him?
Why would he be here in City A?
Right, he was looking for that miracle doctor. However, given that she was also a doctor, could she have a chance in treating his relative?
The waitress was about to stop her from pushing the door open, but it was already too late. The door had swung open, and Cheng Wei stepped inside.
“Cousin, I saw you coming up the staircase just now so I had to see if it was really you,” she said, pretending to be cheerful. “I was wondering…”
She appeared surprised when she saw the others.

She had been so busy dealing with company matters that she didn’t really have the time to head over to No. 1 High School.
Just the thought of this bitch coming into contact with her Cheng Yan was enough to make her feel uncomfortable.
Ergh, the thought was unbearable!
Yu Shu was about to sit right beside Cheng Yanand pulled one of the chairs out. However, just as she was about to do so, a toneless voice echoed across the room.
“There’s already someone sitting there.”
Yao Tang didn’t even look at her as she said it.
Yu Shu simply ignored her. However, just as she was about to sit down, the waitress immediately stepped in. “Madame, why don’t you sit here instead?”
“I—of course.” Yu Shu maintained her smile and sat on the other chair.
Fine, whatever.
She brought her attention to Cheng Wei who had already greeted Searlewith a charming smile. They seemed to be having a good conversation.
Upon hearing them, she could hear Cheng Wei greet Searlein his local language.
Searle’s eyes flashed in surprise. “Have you been to K Country before? You actually bothered to learn our language.”
Cheng Wei laughed politely.
“I actually had the honor of meeting you in a previous banquet I’ve attended,” she responded. “I love your speech, and it’s such an honor to meet you again.”
Hearing the conversation between the two, Cheng Yan remained seated, unbothered by them.
It was as if he couldn’t see the fawning expression written all over her face. After a few seconds, Searle changed the topic and went back to the purpose of his visit.
“I’m actually in search of the miracle doctor. From my sources, I know that he’s in City A. If Miss Cheng had any clues as to where she might be, I’ll repay you a huge prize.”
He smiled.
He didn’t know whether or not this person knew the whereabouts of this miracle doctor, but it certainly wouldn’t hurt to ask.
Perhaps he could get this information from other people.
“Do you mind telling me what you’ve heard about this doctor? Perhaps I’ve met him before.” Cheng Wei smiled up at him.
Searle nodded.
“I’ve heard that the miracle doctor currently resides in City A. Wherever he is, his knowledge knows no boundaries. There were people who said that this miracle doctor is a woman. Others claim the doctor to be a man. Either way, he’s known for being incredibly talented, but what’s interesting is that he makes use of traditional Chinese medicine instead of the normal Western practices.”
Could that doctor be Yao Tang?
She dealt with Chinese medicine more.
However, if it was her, why wouldn’t she willingly admit to it?
Cheng Wei glanced over at Yao Tang, but she didn’t say a word.
However, when she raised her head, she was met with Cheng Yan’s warning gaze.
Just one glance from him was enough to send a chill down her spine.
“I see.” Cheng Wei appeared to be deep in thought. “Actually, I’m also a Chinese medicine practitioner. Why don’t you allow me to look at the patient?”
