“There’s no need.” Yao Tang shrugged.
In her eyes, the Yao Family was already acting like a clown in a circus. She just couldn’t take them seriously, much less be bothered to involve herself with their personal matters.
Although Yao Ran had managed to make things difficult for her at the banquet, she was able to jump over these obstacles with ease.
There wasn’t any need to take them to heart.
At the Yao Family Household, however, everyone was tense.

Yao Yuan shrugged.
It didn’t matter whether or not Yao Tang would grace her presence in their homes. What mattered was whether or not she’d be of use to him in the future.
Yao Ran and Qin Manshared a look.
That may be quite difficult.
It would be impossible for Yao Tang to assist the Yao Familyin times of need.
After all, they had caused quite a ruckus at the banquet today. Not only had they tried to humiliate her, but they even tried to defame her in front of all these guests.
Qin Man smiled in embarrassment. “Of course,” she quickly said. “We will handle our relationship with her in the future. Let me and Ranrandiscuss it upstairs. We will plan her future meeting with the Young Master of the Cheng Family.”

“I know that the Qin Family wouldn’t talk about it, but you know how gossip spreads around here. In time, your father would also hear about this.”
“If the others talk about it, then we could easily diffuse the situation by saying it’s a rumor.” She smiled. “If Dad asks us, then we’ll respond all the same.”
