She didn’t even hesitate as she rushed down the stairs. Thinking that something had happened to her daughter, she immediately hugged Yao Ran and stared up at her husband. “Don’t you dare get angry at my Ranran!” she warned. “Whatever she’s done, I’m sure that we can all get past this. It’s-you shouldn’t be making a fuss and scaring her like this!”
