Qi Yusen led Qiao Qing into a twirl.
Then, with a push, he gently shoved her into Jun Yexuan.
“Don’t lose her again.”
Qi Yusen then placed his hands into his pockets and went to the seating area.
Jun Yexuan instantly felt guilty. He grabbed onto Qiao Qing’s waist and pulled her in, “I’m sorry. I don’t see well in the dark. Are you mad at me?”
Qiao Qing stopped staring at Qi Yusen and patted Jun Yexuan’s head, “Idiot.”
Jun Yexuan melted at her affectionate tone and stopped feeling so sad.
He grabbed Qiao Qing’s hand, “Let’s dance.”
No longer awkward, Qiao Qing very naturally placed her hands into Jun Yexuan’s.
On the sofa, Qi Yusen swirled the wine glass in his hand. As he tasted his wine, he expressionlessly watched the dance floor.
Gong Yi came over and knocked his glass against Qi Yusen’s, “If young master Qi isn’t Qingqing’s brother, then third young master Jun would be single right now. Am I right?”
Qi Yusen’s face fell and he put down his wine glass.
Gong Yi was a little surprised, “What’s wrong?”
Qi Yusen, “I have OCD.”
Gong Yi, “…”
He merely knocked their glasses together. It wasn’t like the wine splashed into the other glass!
What a weirdo!
After the dance ended in darkness, cruise night was over.
Some certain fox couldn’t even growl anymore due to tiredness.
Once everyone returned to land, Mo Huan started to shout, “Brother Gong! Brother Gong!”
Gong Yi stopped his steps. Jun Yexuan faked a smile, “Young master Gong, don’t forget what you just said to me.”
Gong Yi played with his lighter, “I don’t need third young master Jun to remind me.”
Even if he wasn’t certain whether or not it was Qiao Qing that day, he was sure it wasn’t Mo Huan.
He thought back and realized that Mo Huan’s explanation of what happened that day didn’t sit well with him.
While she described all the events, she didn’t talk like it was her own experience. She talked like she was telling a story.
As he thought about it, Mo Huan had already walked up to him.
“Brother Gong, are you still mad? Are you really going to ignore me from now on? We used to have so much fun together!”
Gong Yi snickered, “Mad still? Don’t you know why I was mad? What were you doing today?!”
Mo Huan said, “This is because of Qiao Qing? But I didn’t say anything about her that day!”
Jun Yexuan frowned, “What more could you have said?!”
Gong Yi frowned as well. He thought it was a waste of time to talk to her, “I’m going to ask you one thing. Were you the one who saved me three years ago?”
Mo Huan’s eyes widened and her face turned blank. After she calmed herself down, she said, “Brother Gong, what are you saying? Who else could’ve saved you but me? Why are you suddenly asking?”
Gong Yi knew right away what the answer was after she responded that way. He wasn’t sure if he should feel relieved or angry.
After a cold chuckle, he said, “I’m going to get to the bottom of this. I’ll make sure you know how you die. Once I confirm it wasn’t you who saved me, I will make sure you suffer from the consequences.”
He then turned around, “Let’s go.”
Mo Huan watched as Gong Yi left. Her little face was drained of color as she collapsed onto the ground.
The bystanders didn’t know what went wrong, but none of them went to check up on her – including Xu Pingting.
Lu Gechen and Lin Miao didn’t go and comfort her either.
