The heavy subject immediately freaked Qin Ruhai out.
“You… you want to die?”
He had been Huo Sishen’s family doctor for many years and know his condition the best.
Huo Sishen had always resented and refused treatment.

He wasn’t the one who wanted to die.

Had he known that she was depressed, would he still be able to date her and treat her like a normal person?

Seeing the frightful looking on Siyi who was standing next to him, he swallowed up what he was going to say next.
Even the usually careless Siyi looked frightened.
Siyi was one of the few who joked around with Gu Shishi.
He, too, would probably stay away from her if he found out that she was ill?
Who knew what kind of crazy things a person who was determined to die would do when she was in the heat of the moment?
That was the impression of most people when it came to those with mental illness.
They’d hurt themselves, or others. A complete lack of self-control.
And who would be okay with that?
He took a deep breath.
“She was abandoned by her parents and lost her friend.
“And she felt that death was temporary but being alive is long-term suffering.
“Is she… depressed?
“How can I help alleviate her symptoms?”
He just needed to alleviate her symptoms temporarily.
He could take her out of the country to be treated later on while avoiding the news to be leaked in her friends’ circle.
Huo Sishen sighed again gloomily after he had said that.
As soon as he finished talked, Siyi, outside of the screen, exchanged a look with Qin Ruhai and both had mass sadness in their eyes.
“Look for something to do,” said Qin Ruhai heavily from the screen.
“Focus on some sort of activities and find one’s purpose in life.
“Bro, there are still many happy events in life worth living for. A once-in-a-life-time romance, for example.”
The tips of Huo Sishen’s brows moved a little.
Qin Ruhai sighed.
“If you feel that you don’t have much time and there was nothing else to live for, then fall in love.
“No parents, no friends. Why not have a lover before it all ends?”
Once he was in love, Qin Ruhai didn’t think Huo Sishen would be able to leave the little pretty girl behind.
Huo Sishen was dumbfounded. “But wouldn’t she feel that she will be burden to someone else?”
Was that why she was always looking for him? And asked him to send her gifts as her husband?
She wanted to die but wanted to experience a very memorable romance before it all ended? Perhaps even marriage?
It would be a burden for others.
But he would be perfect for that purpose. He had a poor reputation and nobody knew how much longer he would live.
