Butler Lin mulled over it a little and finally added, “Everybody loved your hand-drawn pictures.”
Having this drawing and signature, their employee benefits insta-killed that of all the other servants who worked for the Chen’s, the Gu’s, or the Li’s!
It’s a statement of how much their employer respects them!
Hearing his words, Gu Shishi wasn’t sure how to respond to him.
“Sure, Butler Lin, but it will have to wait till I get off work. I can draw on my way back. Have Master Chen bring the cards with him on his way to pick me up? By the way, were they all confiscated? How many are we missing?”
Butler Lin quickly gave her a number.
Gu Shishi’s lips twitched.
All 24 were missing. That meant that the boss had collected each and every single one of the cute versions.
He said “no”, “bad”, but his body was honest.
His collection quirk… was so obvious!
“Not a problem. I’ll draw from the car and they will be done by the time I reach home.” Gu Shishi promised him.
Half a second later, she heard the sound of the system.
[Hidden side mission completed: Gain the fondness of all servants in the mansion (139/139).]
[Reward: ‘Natural blush from wine” halo fragment x 1.]
Gu Shishi blinked her limpid eyes.
[You can exchange for the halo once you have collected all 3 fragments.]
“Oh… two more pieces to go…”
She thought she had earned the halo already.
[This is a high-level halo: There is no makeup or beauty care that could provide host with this quality.]
[You weren’t born with it and you can never have it in this lifetime. But now it can be yours if you complete just two more assignments!]
“Any assignments? Including my regular daily ones?”
Gu Shishi’s eyes lit up immediately.
[Yep. It can be the male lead’s assignment, social networking assignment, or hidden assignment.]
This appeared to be one of the new features of the system after the last update.
That works. At least she would have something to work toward!
Gu Shishi didn’t drink much but she knew what the drunk makeup looked like. It was still quite cute. It’s a little bit of orange that one would apply under one’s eyes.
It’d create the effect of the hint of light blush when someone was slightly drunk, making her look more loveable.
But makeup needs to be removed at some point in time.
Plus, one couldn’t just apply makeup each time one drinks.
But, if one could come with self-appeared light blush, that ought to be fun.
Gu Shishi pulled out her cellphone, turned on the front camera, and looked at her own face.
She poked at the area slightly below her eyes on both sides of her nose. “A little bit of red, not too pinkish or too Mary Sue-ish. I like it to look healthier, with a hint of orange. Makes one look lively.”
She was, after all, a good painter. She cared and knew a lot about her look and her hue.
[Don’t worry. There will be areas and colors for you to choose from.]
[With that halo, if you don’t like the effect, you can adjust it freely while you are drinking.]
“Oh ho.”
Now that’s advanced!
Ever since the hair-removal, Gu Shishi felt that the new skin-care effects of the system were way less crude than the previous ones.
In the past, they were all one-touch effects or filters.
Finally, there was an equivalent of DIY, which would work very well for someone skillful like herself.
Gu Shishi was pleased and happy.
She took the time in between her classes to look at the daily assignments turned in by Ling Xiaomei, assigned her new assignments, and pointed out her shortcomings to her.
When it was time to take off, she noticed a girl in a baseball cap and shades pacing back and forth outside of her work and peeking in occasionally.
Before Gu Shishi took off from work, she headed to the bathroom first.
The suspicious person followed her in and still wanted to hide when Gu Shishi turned around.
Gu Shishi has always been an observing one. She could tell who it was from one look at her chin, which had been corrected with hyaluronic acid.
