Even after the class ended, Yun Bilu still had her head lowered, almost planting it on the table. She listened as people around her started leaving the classroom and closed her eyes in an attempt to erase her own existence.
Huang Yize looked at her with an amused expression. He had never thought this girl to be so cute. Those eyelashes of hers were still trembling.
Yun Bilu took a peek and saw the smile on Huang Yize’s face. His gaze could mesmerize people with its nobility. The slight tilt of his lips formed an exquisite line, hooking on to a person’s soul—it was like an iceberg melting and flowers blooming in the spring.
Not only that, his body radiated an incredibly attractive scent. Yun Bilu widened her eyes as she looked at him, wanting to get a better look.
It was so rare to see his smile. Even if he were in a good mood, his lips would only tilt up slightly. This smile of his was too breathtaking and blinding, so much so that it felt like it snatched her soul away.
Huang Yize looked at Yun Bilu’s widened eyes, which was shining in a mesmerizing way, and his smile disappeared. He looked around before whispering, “Almost everyone has left now. Lazy kitten, it’s about time for you to wake up.”
“I’m not lazy.”
“If you’re not lazy, why are you still lying around? Let’s go. If we don’t leave, the students for the next class will be coming in, and there would be more people then.”
Yun Bilu cast a cursory glance around. There were still about ten people in the class. Some of them were waiting to ask their questions while Professor Liu was still on the podium giving some advice.
Looking at Yun Bilu’s hesitant expression, Huang Yize packed her textbook into his bag and lightly tugged her arm to drag her outside.
This girl was usually so brazen. Who knew that she had such a timid and shy side?
Yun Bilu followed Huang Yize with her head lowered. She leaned close to his body and tightened her grip on his hand.
Huang Yize turned his head around and looked at her face before gazing down at their intertwined fingers. A glint as gentle as the moonlight flashed across his eyes.
When they finally left the classroom, Yun Bilu raised her head and poked at Huang Yize’s arm with her finger. “It’s your fault. All your fault!”
“How did this become my fault?”
Yun Bilu pouted. “If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t have become the laughing stock of the class.”
Huang Yize raised a single brow as he continued to pull her forward. “So, no matter what, it’s my fault?”
Yun Bilu continued walking and saw the couples walking past them. When she recalled the reason why she was upset and came looking for him, she tried to pull her hand from Huang Yize’s grip and was about to fling his hand away.
“What is it?” Even with Huang Yize’s high EQ, he couldn’t understand a woman’s complicated mind. What was she angry about again?
Huang Yize stopped walking and tightened his hold on Yun Bilu’s hand, not letting her let go. He pulled her body to face him and said, “It’s written all over your face. Quick, tell me what’s wrong. I’m listening.”
“You came late for class. Were you keeping another girl company?”
Huang Yize chuckled to himself. This was what she was going on about? From a guy’s point of view, they didn’t give much thought to it, but they would understand later that girls minded these things.
“You’re really bothered by it?”
“I’m not!”
Looking at Yun Bilu’s lips that were pressed together in a straight line, Huang Yize said in a low and deep voice, “Who told you about that thing? Letting your imagination run wild? Hmm. That’s not like you, though?”
“Because you’re not answering my question!”
Huang Yize loved to see how much this girl cared for him, but seeing how puffed up she was, he said in a patient voice, “Frankly speaking, I think we only spoke two sentences. She’s from the theater school, so based on our university’s standards, I’m required to get interviewed by her.”
