The great sword that is many times larger than Reaper was cut in half as if it was a stick of butter.
Before the titan could even digest that shock and surprise, the blood red blade of the reaper sliced through his arms and his chest.
He could feel the life leaving his body along with his blood.
“All that muscle, what is it for?”
Sam muttered as he turned around and kicked another guy that is trying to surround him and attack him from the back.
He stopped playing defensive. Even though he tried to block as many attacks as possible to the best of his abilities, when they did barely manage to cross those defensive measures and land that attack, it barely made a mark on Sam.
He let them attack him. He didn’t care much.
The demigods and the titans did think that finally Sam had some weakness and the numbers are taking a toll on him.
But there is one oddity that made them think that it might not be the case. Every time, Sam killed someone or he made enough damage to someone to the point they are on verge of their death, he dragged them out of the crowd and threw them into the middle of the arena.
And he did that so with no resistance whatsoever and it made them feel like he is not having much trouble with the people here.
Sam just piled the bodies in the middle and went back into the wave of titans. He killed one, brought one and threw them once again before going back.
The titans who were known to be some of the greatest warriors there is, felt a spine-chilling fear as they saw the pile getting bigger.
Sam is soaked with blood. His hair is dripping with the blood of his victims. He took the attacks from titans who understood their fate and went all out. But he didn’t even change his expression. It is cold, and arrogant, the arrogance that made the titans feel small.
It is almost like Sam is proud by the fact that it takes two hundred strong to even injure him properly and every time a titan almost made a last-ditch effort with everything they got to kill him, all they can do is leave a noticeable scar on Sam, he smirked at them with that arrogance.
The Titans were filled with shame, and that shame consumed them.
And there is nothing much that could be said about the Demigods, the ones who are incharge of making this whole farce up.
They saw Sam dismantling their best fighters, killing like their lives aren’t worth living. His behavior as if he is punishing them for wasting the life force of this universe and being unable to retaliate in face of such impudence. All of this made them completely helpless.
And their faces only brightened for a brief moment, when four titans sacrificed themselves to destroy the function of one of Sam’s hands and they are a bit ecstatic by the fact that it is the arm with which Sam wielded the reaper.
But to their dismay, Sam didn’t even care, he just threw his flail arm around like it was not even his and caught the sword with his remaining hand.
He continued the massacre and piling.
Soon, some of the demigods who are not really completely involved with high stakes in his fiasco, got curious about why Sam is piling.
And one of them made some handsigns while biting their finger. That drop of blood glowed and then it transferred to their eyes as if they are seeing something that shouldn’t be seen.
The glow from the eyes disappeared as that person looked at Sam is surprise. He turned to the demi god that sat next to him and said.
“If you don’t want to cough out blood from anger, tell your brother to order those titans to retreat. If you don’t, you are going to regret it. An insult you couldn’t bear will stare straight at your face.”
“What are you talking about? That bastard has to die here today. Even if all the titans have to die, that bastard shouldn’t be alive.”
The person in the next seat obviously didn’t listen.
The first demi-god just shook his head. He had seen what is going to happen in a while and he is sure none of these Demi gods are going to like this. But he is sure of one thing, even though if Sam technically dies here, the demigods will only feel more frustrated instead of empowered.
They won’t feel a single shred of satisfaction because Sam is not really going to die here and not just that, he will leave something behind that will make these guys throw up blood in anger.
He just sat there and looked at Sam’s performance.
As the bodies piled up soon they took a shape after a while. There are only a dozen or so Titans left and Sam lost a lot of blood himself. His movement has obviously gone slow. But he looked like a savage that is going on a rampage.
As he is weakening a bit by bit and felt his head going dizzy, the titans are also dwindling much faster. And the pile is taking a very specific shape. By the time only one titan was left, all the Demigods stood up as they yelled.
“Don’t let him finish that.”
“Don’t you dare, you sick bastard? We will not let you insult our honor like this.”
Sam is trying to keep all of his focus on his final target, to finish whatever he started. And this demigod’s cries helped him. He became much more focused as his dizzy head cleared up a bit with a hint of anger surging to his head.
He gritted his teeth as he held the sword tightly with his left arm. His right arm is not moving. The tendons on his legs were cut, and his back was open with multiple wounds.
His lips are crushed and his nose is broken, some of his toes are smashed into pieces.
Saying he is injured is a severe understatement.
The Demigod looked at the Titan who is covering even though Sam is that injured. Titan didn’t even take half as much damage as Sam.
But he is shivering in fright and when the reaper came for him, he didn’t even defend himself. He threw his weapon away and let his life leave and the Demigods could bet that they had seen a faint glimmer of relief in the face of that dying titan.
Sam carried the titan with his left arm while holding the reaper with his teeth.
He bit the handle so hard that his gums started to bleed with all the pounding he took. He dragged the large titan’s body as he slowly climbed the heap he created.
The Demigods got mad and almost all of them extended their hands.
“You lowly bastard, we order you, to stop your acts right now or you pay dearly.”
“You pathetic bastard, how dare you, act impudent in front of us, you better hope we wouldn’t catch you alive.”
“I will throw you in hades and torture you while you are alive.”
Everyone started cursing Sam. This only made him more determined though.
The Demigod leader, the one who sent the two hundred titans looked at Sam coldly and shouted.
“STOP RIGHT THERE.”
Sam didn’t heed his words.
“I TOLD YOU TO STOP.”
He then extended his hand and threw a lightning spear at Sam.
The spear tore through the space and went to hit Sam, but right before it could make contact, it deflected.
Sam couldn’t do anything to stop it and he realized, he didn’t need to do anything to stop it.
An invisible barrier appeared and stopped the spear in its tracks. But the spear just followed Sam along that barrier as he moved and tried to pierce through it.
The rest of the demigods also joined in as they attacked with various moves. All of them ranged attacks and Sam could feel the divine energy overflowing from each one of them. He bit on the reaper’s handle even more as he climbed the pile one step at a time.
As the attacks increased though, he felt an invisible pressure mounting up on him. This made him feel extremely tired and felt like he is carrying mountains on his back.
But still he didn’t give up, he put his all into his legs as he climbed bit by bit.
And by the time his whole body felt like it was being crushed under the pressure, he forcefully pulled the Titan’s body upwards and made it stand on top of the pile.
He then let go of himself. He fell of the pile freely under the pressure and hit the ground hard with a thud.
The demigods looked at the pile and the single titan standing on top of it.
It is a middle finger.
The corpses are arranged into a palm that’s giving a giant middle finger to all of them.
That’s what Sam did with all those titans.
As he felt the pressure weighing on his chest, Sam just smiled as he spat out blood from his mouth.
“You inbred swine of Olympus, you dared to call me a bastard and low life, you dared to break the rules and attack me directly, you dared treat me like a toy and a piece of entertainment. Now I hope you are fucking entertained.
And I hope you find all your entertainment before I come back and visit you guys which won’t be too long.
The way I am going to treat you, the things I am going to do to you, the heinous creatures sealed in the deepest levels of Hades will shiver in fright upon the mere mention of it.
Mark my words.”
His voice is loud and clear as his body slowly disappeared and right before he did, he could see a faint image of Hel appearing in the sky and waving her hand. All the Divine energy attacks of the Demigods are sent back to them. Attacking them then and there.
Making them all cough blood.
