Sam looked at Sivan coldly.
Anger is bubbling inside his heart. He wanted to strangle Sivan’s neck right at the moment. He has to use a lot of self-control to suppress the urge of making a rash move.
He sat up and waved his hand to get the staff from the storage. He used that to stand up. Now he only has one leg and one arm. The peg leg is also gone, but he is not at all worried as he held the staff with one hand and leaned on it to get the support.
Sivan looked at him with a smirk. He believed that he would be able to beat Sam easily in the current state. Because he is sure that he cannot pull off anything in that crippled body if is in Sam’s shoes.
Sam took a deep breath as he looked at Sivan changing his body once again. It changed from a metal element to a fire element. Golden flames enveloped him as he looked at Sam who just stood there.
“Since you won’t be able to jump around as you did previously, let’s finish this quickly.”
As he spoke, his lungs started expanding as he took in deep breaths. The surrounding energy is being sucked in as he aimed at Sam.
It is one of the Golden Sun crow’s bloodline techniques. Sam tapped the staff on the ground and a large sphere made of pure energy enveloped him and a few feet radius around him.
The sphere started expanding as new layers over layers of spiritual energy started occupying it.
He constantly reinforced the barrier as he waited for the impact to come.
*BOOM*
A large streak of golden flames surrounded him and the barrier.
Sam felt the heat reaching his face even though there is a few feet gap between him and the flames. He also felt that it is really hard to maintain the barrier as it is.
But he gritted his teeth and tried his best.
That trial only lasted for a minute though. The barrier almost reacted like metal being melted over the flames. When Sam noticed this, he immediately thought of something and made the barrier disperse into energy ripples away from him and made them explode through void style.
*BOOM* *BOOM*
A series of explosions happened as the flames dispersed one by one.
Sam just stood there and still didn’t move. Another sphere formed around him even before Sivan could get ahold of himself from the dispersed bloodline attack.
Sam calmly stared at him while creating a small energy orb within the sphere.
The orb looked like a normal energy bullet, but a lot denser and it was much more stable. The orb flew out of the barrier like it was penetrating a soap bubble.
Sivan was ready to defend himself, but instead of going for him, the orb just flew past him into the air and hovered there.
Sivan frowned and was looking at the orb, but the next moment, he had to focus on Sam again, because he got ready with a bunch of energy bullets that are being shot from the end of the staff.
*BOOM* *BOOM*
A series of explosions happened and Sivan used the light elemental fusion to dodge them. He then looked at Sam again and wanted to use another bloodline art.
He could see that Sam is panting a bit and with the energy vision, he can see that Sam’s energy is not as abundant as before.
So, he wanted to exhaust Sam with the bloodline arts.
If Sam had heard these thoughts, he would have definitely scoffed. Because no matter how much of an overwhelming advantage Sam has over his opponent, he definitely wouldn’t use bloodline arts left and right which would exhaust his energy.
That is plain stupid.
And he is right. Even though Sivan justified these thoughts as his way of exhausting Sam and using his abundant energy to his advantage, the real reason is he just wanted to show off against Sam.
He wanted to show Sam that his invincible body is completely under Sivan’s control and there is nothing Sam can do about it while being attacked by the best attacks possible by this body.
He wanted to show Sam that he can do whatever he wants with the body. He wanted to make him feel jealous.
He changed the fusion element and started attacking Sam with different elemental energy first.
The lightning elemental energy.
He is covered with silver lightning as he punched the spherical barrier.
The barrier vibrated with every punch and fluctuated. Sam let him land those barrage of hits and he tried his best to hold the barrier up.
When it was about to break, he once again let the energy of the barrier ripple away and explodes at the same time.
*BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM*
A series of explosions occurred once again. But this time Sivan managed to react quickly enough to not be caught off guard because of that and jumped backward out of the blast zone.
He then activated another bloodline art. His windpipe compressed itself as he looked at the sky and howled like a wolf.
*HOWWWLL*
With a single howl, a large bolt of silver lightning shot off from his body into the sky and created a massive cloud from which a bunch of lightning bolts was shot toward Sam.
Sivan looked at Sam to see if he had nailed the timing.
Since he took the first attack on Sam exploding the barrier and there is a small interval he noticed in creating the first barrier and creating the second one, he wanted to use that small interval to kill Sam and bombard him with the attacks.
But he was disappointed with the results.
Sam used the energy barrier shields he made for Grivon’s business.
He used a bunch of them at the same time while making the barrier with his own staff and he also shot a bunch of energy bullets at the lightning that is coming at him.
Sivan is frustrated and confused at the same time.
The bloodline attacks are the strongest attacks there are. They are very powerful for people of the same level to even consider blocking. But Sam is managing to block it every time. He couldn’t help but feel confused.
He looked at the sky and howled again making the lightning strike Sam again, before closing his eyes in that gap and letting his consciousness go into the Divine dimension.
Within the Divine dimension, in the fields of different elemental energies. The beasts are currently tied up.
All of them. Yanwu, Sky, Mia, Raiju, Forrest Bear, the shadow mouse, and even the Void hopper, are all tied up within different elemental energy zones that are not compatible with them.
Yanwu is currently tied in the ice elemental energy zone.
Sivan did this after he got the major portion of Sam’s memories. Within those things, there are details regarding the Myriad Beast bloodline cultivation technique that Sam’s body is cultivating. The details that he got made him realize that Yanwu and the rest of the beasts have a contract of equality with him.
But he also realized that their lives are pretty much tied together. Beasts are too much in love with Sam and the only reason that they are even tolerating the contract currently is because they are sure that Sam will be back and also the familiarity they are gaining with Sivan as he absorbed Sam’s soul bit by bit.
There is something else that led him to tie these beasts up though.
As the beasts felt the familiarity increasing with Sam and particularly when they realized there is only a small portion of the soul fragment that he couldn’t absorb and it will be dissolved as soon as he killed Sam, they wanted to commit suicide to weaken him.
Even though he might not be killed by it, a good portion of his soul will be damaged. They wanted to weaken him with the battle with Sam and they also made a collective plan that if by any chance Sivan wins the battle, the very next moment, they will all kill themselves in a collective suicide which will make Sivan die as well.
This is to make sure that they won’t end up in Sivan’s control.
They don’t want to be his beasts. They don’t want to be in a contract with them. They are very adamant about this situation.
Because as soon as Sivan absorbs the last part of the soul, they will be unable to distinguish between Sivan and Sam, in fact, they might not even be different people. They would be completely bound by the contract.
So, because of this Sivan immediately tied them up as soon as he realized. He is waiting for the soul to be fully merged and so that he can release them.
He used the Divine dimension’s powers. Since the person who owns that dimension is like a literal god there and can control anything, he tied them all up and occasionally tried to squeeze out some info from them.
