As soon as Ivin finished speaking the roof of the house exploded and came crashing down.
*BOOM*
*CRASH*
Four people entered the house and Yuvana stood straight as she looked at all of them. One of the four picked up Ivin from the rubble and made him stand.
“The one and only Yuvana, using her famous torture techniques on someone with lesser cultivation? Gaja clan really is desperate, isn’t it?”
One of the old men spoke.
“Stop with your yapping and get ready to fight. I have to catch up with the rest of your forces and inform the clan about it.”
Yuvana said calmly and took out her weapons.
“I heard that you are this daring. But today, you are going to die.”
“Like hell, you can kill me. The same thing was said to me and my husband when we are surrounded by twenty people. Do you really think four you can do any better than that? All you are is a reduction in the numbers that could have possibly attacked the Gaja clan.
By staying here, you made my husband’s work easier. That’s it.”
As soon as she spoke, she made a move without waiting for them to reply or start.
The four opponents met her with their own attacks.
Ivin who is standing at the side spectated the whole fight for the next thirty minutes and he cannot believe what he saw.
Yuvana who was known to be the weakest of the trio compared to Gail and Gamin played around with the four opponents.
It is not as much as intentional playing, rather it is her fighting style. The way she approached the fight itself is by toying with them.
She didn’t let them land a single attack and she also didn’t go for some big and fancy moves. In fact, no matter how much the four men tried, they couldn’t take the fight outside of the house walls.
Yuvana controlled the whole fight and she chipped them away bit by bit. She stripped them off, their clothes, dignity and then their flesh bit by bit as they slowly bled to death.
In this whole process, the most they did to Yuvana is to make her sweat, pant and finally spoil her braid.
She put her weapons away and started braiding her hair with bloody hands as she looked at the surroundings calmly. She then looked at Ivin and said.
“The Divine league really overestimates itself, doesn’t it?
Do you even know what happened within the tournament ground?”
Ivin involuntarily shook his head.
“Figures. After all, not many people made out of that place alive. You bloody idiot.
I am really pissed off at Divine league for quite some while. This time, they will learn a lesson.”
“You wouldn’t be able to teach the Divine league anything. Do you really think we are the only plan the Divine league has?
This time ten organizations are coming with the full force of all stages and that is just from my side. There is something else apart from this and I am sure the Gaja clan wouldn’t survive past this.”
“Yeah? You wouldn’t be able to see it, even if that happens. Goodbye.”
With that Ivin died and Yuvana directly went to the Space gate area to take the fastest route to the Gaja clan, but to her dismay, all of the space gates are destroyed.
There is no way they can be operated. They even went as far as locking the wormholes with some formations.
Yuvana has no choice but to break one of the formations carefully and use the wormhole to go to the next realm. There is not a single realm or planet big enough to hold an organization that has a direct connection to the Gaja clan.
Even if it does, they wouldn’t have space gates connected since the situation is tense.
She has to move from one realm to another normally through wormholes and space gates, which will take a longer time.
“I should have brought the transference tokens for the stray realm.”
She muttered to herself as she started her journey.
Meanwhile, back at the Gaja clan.
Gamin and Clan’s leader is discussing something when one of the subordinates came running.
“Sir, Senior Elder Ma found out about activity in the surroundings. A large group of people are coming towards the city at an extremely fast pace.
They all seemed to be in formations and they are all coming from the front.
He also said, they seemed to be led by the current sect leader of the Star Eye sect. It might just be the whole army of the Star eye sect and some other organizations.”
Gamin stood up and stretched his body.
“It seems like we are having a party here.”
The clan’s leader was about to get ready, but Gamin stopped him.
“Don’t come forward and fight yet. Stay with the youngsters who can’t participate. They need someone to lean on and since you haven’t fully recovered from that pill usage, you are the better candidate for that.”
“But there are too many..”
“What is the point of talking numbers here. Do they really want to storm the gate of the Gaja clan? Let me see if they have the competence to cross when I am standing in front of it.
Anyway, this is also a great time to see how Sam’s new toys are going to work. I am really excited. “
He then turned towards the subordinate and said.
“Call Saran and tell him to come towards the front gate of the city.”
The subordinate nodded and left.
“Is there any way to contact Gail?” The clan’s leader asked.
“There isn’t. But he should be on his way.
Anyway, as long as there is a problem on your side, give me a signal. Either I or Saran will be there in a second. No matter how small the problem is, just call us.
Those kids shall not be in their hands no matter what. They are part of the Gaja clan and they will receive all the protection at any cost to grow as part of it.”
Gamin took out his blade and ran to the front of the city.
At the same moment, some subordinates went to inform Sam and Giyon about the situation just like how they informed Gamin and the clan’s leader.
Senior Elder Ma sent separate subordinates to inform them about this situation directly.
Sam got the gist and made his move. He didn’t go to the city wall. He went to the Clan estate’s gate and took out the telescope he made to look at the people coming. Giyon and Grivon joined him at that spot and took a look as well.
“So, what are we doing?”
“Right now? Nothing. Let the mechanisms do their part first. We only need to worry about them after they enter the city directly.
Even then we don’t need to step up directly. The subordinates and operators are already in place with all the readily available weapons and traps. This is going to be okay.”
“But the army this time is very huge. Larger than the Bain clan’s army by many times.
From the looks of it, there are at least twenty peak stage Astral Plane Consummate cultivators. This is way too many. Dad is also absent at this time.”
“But your uncle looks excited for some reason. If he is really that confident let him be. I have ways to give him assistance.” Sam said calmly.
“Really? No offence, but I have been having some doubts in the past few days. You only manufactured one thing properly in the past month and apart from that, there are residual products created from those domes which are mostly for selling.
I have seen those products myself, they are good, but I doubt they are helpful in such a large scale situation. I am still waiting to see what they can really do.”
“You could have just asked me. Why didn’t you do so? I would have given you a demonstration.”
“Well, you have now opportunity and time to do so. You better not disappoint me.”
“Anyway, I bet you have seen how this works?”
Sam said as he took out a spherical metal ball that looked like there are cracks all over and the cracks are glowing with blue lightning elemental energy.”
“Yes, I have seen it. Isn’t it the product that you are going to put up for sale? The by-product of those domes?”
“Yes, it is. You have seen how it worked?”
“Yes, I did.”
“Well, this is going to be the first mode of response against the attackers that are coming.”
As soon as Sam spoke up, at the city wall, a bunch of cannons came out of the walls and started shooting these spheres.
They are glowing of different colours as they are launched into the air and they left a streak of different colours behind as they near the targets coming forward.
The marching army didn’t think much of the spheres and kept on moving forward.. But their expressions changed as soon as they saw what the spheres did next.
