She shouted to her mother after fishing out the keys and opening the door.

He looked at her calmly and tightly grasped his girlfriend’s hand. He was so calm that it felt as if his words were unimportant.

“What?! You two are getting engaged next week?!”
She looked at him in shock and disbelief.
This man’s parents and she were in discussion over this engagement, and although they had not finalized the date yet, she could say confidently that it was not next week.
