Upon having his mind read by the man, Qu Xiujie’s tense expression relaxed. He looked at the other. “Young Master Ji, you’re…”
He paused, at a loss on what to say. It seemed that all the words had lost their meaning in front of the sharp-eyed man.

Ji Ziming’s voice was deep as he looked at the other man coldly. “You need a safe place to hide because you’re aware of Old Lady Qu’s plan to deal with you. Since she knows that you’re suspecting her and even investigating her, she won’t let you off and might even want you dead.”
Hitting the nail on the head again, the man looked pleased with himself.
Qu Xiujie stood on the same spot and sensed his body tensing. All his thoughts had been spoken out by the man.
